Dead Rising returns with modern graphics in this Deluxe Remaster!
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 8 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this aint worth it, just play the original, its better (they didn't even fix the bugs or improve the ai, its really just a new wrapper and one that is not worth the price.)

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

poop. play the original. Watch Crowbcat Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster: Demake till you drop if you dont trust me.
Remake is fine if not making the game a bit easy with modern controls and QoL. They removed Denuvo but replaced it with the same Enigma DRM that got removed from RE4 remake a month after added due to complaints and a Digital Foundry video exposing the problem with benchmarks. Unfortunately as Dead Rising has no way near the audience and this remake kinda went under the radar so there just wasn't enough noise to force Capcom's hand. A damn shame because on sale I would recommend it but performance degrading DRM being added after you remove the original DRM for a game that's been out for years isn't acceptable. It's so frustrating that pirates get a better experience than paying customers because their copy doesn't have any of this DRM crap! I will ofc change the review to positive if they remove Enigma.
上当了 卡的老子不知天地为何物 ♥♥♥♥ capcom
Money grab. No updates addressing performance issues or missing content. Get the original and mod it to your hearts desire.
for the 2h i played this game i feel like i was just playing a walking sim. one of the worst things i experience is shortcut that were there initially that have dissapeared. the thing that made me ragequit is how it took a survivor. walk throught a good part of the mall just to realised that the path i thought was a shortcut was now blocked, making me take the very very long path. only to get killed by prisonner in the park. litteraly in my 2h of game, a good part was just walk to point A to point B FAST, because time is ticking. it seem fun, but the game is not for me. also i think the optimisation is ♥♥♥♥ because even on my big pc, i had to make some setting into medium to make it smooth
优化十分的差,不吃显卡,吃cpu,显卡再好,照样卡成ppt
This game is actively worse then the original in most places and removes pretty much all of the charm with different voice actors and completely changes some characters with extreme censorship. Play the original instead.
it pains me to do this but i just cant recommend it. i dont mean to say its a horrible experience- i actually had a good amount of fun playing through it, and it was a nice trip down memory lane. plenty of very nice qol changes, rooftop has a staircase, unused assets being given another chance, and the game looks really good. it was something else to see an environment id grown up with be given new life, and i do feel like there were at least some people working on this game that really cared for what dead rising is. but.. thats about all i have to on the positives. a more mixed point is the voice acting. I dont dislike it but theres much to be desired. it has its moments, but its a far cry from the original. i dont care as much about the recasts as others would, but no, tj rotolo does not reprise his role as frank, which i do admittedly find a bit unfortunate. theres been many complaints about the "censorship" this game got but in all cases its either for the better (i.e Larry no longer being a racist caricature) or such a non issue that i dont think it drastically changes the core experience of dead rising. there is also an absurd amount of textures that were carelessly ai upscaled and they frankly just look horrible. this isnt even exclusive to smaller assets, there are some you may just notice yourself and it really takes you out of the experience. for the deluxe remaster of dead rising 1, it displays a lack of the confidence the name wants to convince you this game has. despite there being plenty of cool details new to the remaster, a lot are just missing. there was a lot of unique things about dr1 and little quirks that gave it so much life. franks unique idle animations depending on the current situation hes in? gone. the blood dynamically splattering everywhere, including onto frank himself? gone. mirrors...? those are gone too. This was a launch title for the xbox 360, so that one is especially appalling to me. Theres more stuff that i cant even be bothered to list, but it stacks up. there are just... so many issues with this game. The original dead rising is on steam and every other storefront as well, and is pretty cheap. its an amazing game and i think everyone should play it. i can only recommend the deluxe remaster on a pretty steep sale. i love this series, despite some of its shortcomings, and i think theres enjoyment to be had with this game. i dont think its the worst game ever, but i cant in good conscience recommend it myself
