Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 8 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

nice remaster
tl;dr It's a bit of a flawed gem. Even if it's on sale you might want to consider the original instead (even with all its jank) because it doesn't actually bring that much to the table. On top of it all they made the game easier overall for no real reason (and this is coming from someone who disliked how the difficulty spiked hard in the original). The controls aren't as awkward and visually it's pretty to look at but DRDR is a bit.. eh?: - Even at the max settings zombies don't seem to spawn consistently and will pop in and out of existence. - Survivors you're escorting DO follow you now except when they don't and decide to spend several minutes pushing zombies over before moving two feet and repeating the process which means you're constantly just spamming FOLLOW ME COME ON COME ON FOLLOW ME. On top of that sometimes zombies just ignore survivors completely. - You can move and aim now but it's less moving and more shuffling forward ever so slightly and you can't shoot and move. It's one or the other. - Everyone seems to be talking about the censorship in this version but I think what gets me most is how inconsistent it is. They removed the erotica genre for pictures. Kent now shows Frank his 'funniest' shot rather than his 'sexist'. Cliff calls Frank a mole rather than a commie. But they kept Jo basically unchanged and there's still a bunch of gore..?? - Infinity mode straight up doesn't work properly. Entering most areas after a certain point will just hardcrash the game and woops you've just lost your progress since saves are deleted once you've loaded them in that mode.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A good remake of Dead Rising whicch is one of the best zombie games! Good graphics and lot of blood and violence which is what i like! I enjoy a lot killing all the zombies and it runs maxed 1440p 60 fps on mine monster pc RYZEN 7 1700 RX 6700XT 2 GB RED DEVIL MP 600 2TB WRITE:4950MB/S READ:4250MB/S DELLP2416D 24'' 2560X1440 60 HZ IPS!
This is honestly trash and a disservice to all previous iterations of this game. Yes this includes Chop 'Til You Drop. Haven't decided yet if this is worse than DR4 though. They both suck. Wide-scale unneeded censorship in in the VFX, dialogue, etc. Downgrading gore and viscera in contrast to the increase in technical capabilities of both the leveraged engine and modern systems in general. Worse voice acting, worse soundscape, worse SFX for weapons and guns. Major downgrade of difficulty ramp for the game in all respects; excluding busted grab mechanics for Zeds they are effectively passive and mechanically stand around more than actively pursue, shamble and engage you. Poor lighting, reflections are gutted from the game. Color is stripped from the game, leaving everything dull, muted and grayed" Game is pathetically attempting to look more "gritty" and "realistic" for a game in which you are still beating undead into the tiles and concrete with toy swords, MM busters, and shopping carts. Sure guys, very realistic, very warranted for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ color palette. Yellow paint. Don't experiment or think for yourself, we'll hold your hand. Save yourself the time and money and either go play Chop via Dolphin or spend 10 dollars on DR1 Classic. It's still janky, can't expect good port jobs of Capcom really ever. They have always sucked at it. But it is playable, honestly more so than this one. If you're also looking for a good laugh go watch/listen to the interviews re: this 'Deluxe Remaster' by the producer. Very hilarious, really loved reiterating how much they truly preserved the "core" of what made the game good. When you hear developers or producers say that always be wary that its probably ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You shouldn't have to state that core mechanical preservation is being considered, it should be given in a "remaster" and a consideration in a "remake". This game is a remake, and a terrible one at that. Go buy the original, you're welcome.
Woke rising deluxe remaster cured my depression again 7/10 LOVE IT CRACK REMASTERED JESSIE CRACK REMASTERED JESSIE CRACK REMASTERED JESSIE
Lazy remaster that butchered the original NO THANKS
Iconic, innovative, irreplaceable, just a few words that capture the power of the original Dead Rising (2006). Nearly 20 years we've received a remake that introduces the cult classic to a modern audience. Dear Rising Deluxe Remaster is a good game, but it does not move the needle nearly as much as the 2006 original- which is understandable, gaming has evolved. DRDR is stays true to the source material, save for some elements that many people would find offensive in today's world (I don't agree with it, but it's the world we live in). We have a feast for the eyes visually, reimagined and heartier combat, and some welcome quality of life improvements that justify a remake. For all the good of this release it just doesn't hit in the same way. The game is good and fun, but Dead Rising changed the game when it launched. At the time we hadn't seen games with the sheer volume of enemies. breadth of weapon variety, and freedom to explore a shopping mall during a zombie out break. Although it would've deviated from the original, I would've liked to see co-op introduced (similar to Dead Rising 2). Maybe that'll be seen in a Dead Rising 2 Remake in a few years. The voice acting leaves a bit to be desired, I'll be blunt- it's a step back from the quality of the original. This remake runs well, I haven't experienced any stutters or crashes, but on lower spec'd hardware your mileage may vary. I was able to play at 1440p (mostly max settings) on an Alienware m16 4070m gpu with 70+fps, but got better performance on my desktop (to be expected). There's not much to dislike here. DRDR is good fun! Every remake doesn't need to nor can it particularly capture the lightning in a bottle of the original. If you're unsure, Dead Rising OG is still available on Steam (for pretty cheap, $9.99 USD). DRDR is the definitive way to enjoy this classic. You'll know all you need to within the first two hours, so not much to lose- chop 'til you drop.
Stradivertente, rifacimento del primo gioco con meccaniche e difficoltà migliorate, doppiaggio italiano, mescolato dentro l'engine dei remake di Resident Evil. Unica pecca i bug e l'IA. Spesso e volentieri le quest sparivano da sole anche se il timer era pieno, o gli zombie che si clippano dentro oggetti. L'IA dei soldati e degli psicopatici è fatta un po' meh. Comunque 8 su 10.
This remake completely misses what made the original Dead Rising game a timeless game. Sure, the Remake looks maybe subjectively better with high texture resolutions, lighting etc, but personally I think the older engine and looks of Frank and other characters was just way more grounded and better. The new Frank looks too silly imo and alot of the other characters got replaced with goofy and worse models as well. The original game thrived on unapologetic edge, chaotic sandbox freedom, uncomfortable humor, and a brutal time-management system that made every decision stressful and meaningful — this version feels sanitized, toned down, and creatively neutered. Dialogue and character moments lack the bite and personality that gave the 2006 classic its cult status, systems feel streamlined in the worst way, and the overall experience comes across as a safer, corporate-friendly reinterpretation rather than a faithful revival. Instead of embracing the raw, experimental identity that defined Dead Rising, this remake smooths everything into something flatter and less daring. It’s not broken, it’s not unplayable — it’s just inferior in spirit, design philosophy, and attitude. If you loved the original for its grit and personality, this feels like a hollow imitation wearing better graphics.
