Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 8 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a downgrade from the classic
Finally found this game on a decent sale which included the other games with it. Quickly DL'd it and jumped right in. First thoughts: -Nostalgia! -All the many weapons! -Find the Katana! After several hours of playing I was left frustrated. -Zombies constantly grab no matter what. (With the new mechanics when they grab it looks like they are about to go down on you.) -New Name? How about LoadScreen Rising Deluxe Remaster? Seriously, why is everything done with a new loading screen? I get that the game has to render in the Zeds but hell with today's tech it shouldn't be this bad. -Why are Pyschopathes so damn easy? -The camera moves so damn fast that sometimes it is difficult zeroing in on something to interact with it. -Zero audio in Security Room for when survivors are talking to each other. Just NPC's waving their arms over and over. My final gripe and this is a biggie. I can't finish the damn game. I closed all the cases and now I have to get back to the Security Room. Won't let me though. I play 5 minutes and the game crashes. Pretty messed up. Truth be told I've had a lot of fun playing this but with all of my concerns on top of the fact I can't finish the game. I cannot in good conscience recommend this game.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Just play the original the game is already in steam, this one is censored
Not a bad Remaster by any means, It's pretty fun! I'll list my pros/cons: Pros: -Skateboarding is much better (useful for speedrunners like me) -Basically built in Time Skip feature, where you can pass time at any save spot to jump to later points in the game (big problem in the Original) -Good Voice Acting -Remasters of Classic Soundtracks and new additions from DLC -WAY easier achievements.. (at least i dont have to keep the game open for 14hrs straight) (at least i dont have to constantly replay the game, waiting eagerly for every otis call praying to finally get Transmissionary) -Hardcore Difficulty! Cons: -Zombies arent't that big of a threat anymore, sometimes I'm able to walk through zombie crowds without getting grabbed once, whilst in the original, it was a big mistake, cause you'd get chain grabbed to death by zombies. -There is some kind of issue with zombies spawning in the Maintenance Tunnels, sometimes the tunnels load the zombies slower if Im driving fast through the area -Nuff said, the Erotica tag for Photography is gone, however some quests from the Original still remain (Cheryls Request)
Other than a few audio and visual changes of the times, this game still holds up very well. Still one of my favorite games of all time, great game, great franchise! 9.5/10
This remaster is a mixed bag. I'll start with the cons, then get to the pros. Dead Rising is what I believe to be the GOAT of zombie games. L4D2 right behind it. Visually this game makes the original look archaic in most cases, but there's some minor visual bugs that weren't in the original. The game is noticeably easier than the original, which most of the difficulty came from the rough survivor AI that i believe is much smarter in this game. Special Forces still need tweaked pretty bad, I did 7 day survivor and the special forces just suck all the fun out of it. You can be level 50 max, and those guys will stunlock you and just rip you apart while you can't do anything. Grapple moves work well on them, but most of those aren't unlocked until you're almost done with the game anyway. But other than that the gameplay is fun. The WORST of this remaster is the censorship and the voice acting cast. Why they completely redid the voices when they already sound good is beyond me. Frank West sounds nothing like he did in the original, and he also looks like bill murray. Larry's design change is pretty ridiculous and he looks like a baki character or something. Cliff's dialogue was butchered to the point of making no sense, same with Kent. NOBODY LIKES CENSORSHIP! Thankfully, Nexus mods has some really good mods made by passionate modders that fix all of these issues, and thats how I played the game. There's mods to bring back the erotica category needlessly removed, as well as fixing frank's face and voice. The only good voice in this remaster is probably adam the clown, the rest sound so jarringly different. As for the good, gameplay is an absolute blast, movement feels pretty good albeit a little floaty, the new control scheme is very comfortable and being able to walk while aiming a firearm is awesome. Makes the shotgun really fun to use. This version is much more welcoming to new players, which I actually appreciate. I played DR when it was dropped on the 360, but even I will admit the game is dated and very clunky. Most of these issues are fixed. The stupid concrete block survivors had to hurdle over in the original now has a staircase, making it much less annoying and more effective at rounding them up. The voicelines for the survivors was a great addition, as the awkward silence with the occasional loud voice line was really annoying especially for the long winded dialogue. And now you can skip it much quicker as well. Leah, Tonya and Ross no longer drive me insane. The game feels much more lenient on the timer, which I also find to be nice. The timer is great, but sometimes it takes away the player's ability to goof around and explore. Bomb Collector felt much less stressful. So while I do recommend, take these issues into consideration and mod the game. Without the mods I would not like this game at all. Wait for a sale, I just got it for 25 bucks and that's a good price.
a delux piece of crap
