Dead Rising 2: Off the Record

great game, pc port is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful though. the game lies about having controller support as it only works with third party software. put the 2016 remasters on steam like you did with dr1 and also PLEASE PUT CASE WEST AND CASE ZERO ON STEAM

I like the base game just a little bit more than this. I absolutely adore Frank West. I think he's a superior character to Chuck Green. But he feels shoehorned into Chuck's story here in a way that doesn't feel natural. Nothing that happens in this game is cannon, and somehow it feels like it's not cannon. Like it doesn't matter. And it reuses so many of the assets from the base game I struggle to see why this was a full priced, stand alone game and not a free mode in the original. The extra sandbox mode is the one thing this game has over the original. It lets you break away from the stressful schedule of the main game and allows you to actually explore. It even lets you carry all your money and experience points back and forth from the main game. But somehow this PC port has even more bugs than the original Dead Rising 2 PC port which already had a number of problems. I couldn't get passed case 6-4 without the game soft locking until I capped the framerate at 30fps. And I had a save file get corrupted one time after switching to sandbox mode and cloud saving my game from my pc to my Steam Deck. I have very little patience for these sorts of bugs, especially in games that have been on sale for as long as this one has. Fix your bugs, Capcom!!

Do NOT buy this game. This game crashes a lot and has 0 controller support. Don't waste your time or money on this product.

就是把二代的主角替换成一代，故事稍微做点替换改编，道具和细节稍有不同，再加了一代的拍照系统，其它基本没啥变化，一样的剧情和流程，一样的地图和npc，一样的道具和组合，基本就是把二代重新玩一遍。 还有多了一个不限时的沙盒模式，里面塞了一些限时挑战 换皮作还没中文，老游戏又会闪退，基本不推荐

I can not get my controller to work even though it claims it should be able too. even tried what I looked up online and it didn't help.
