Great FMV game, where you as a player follow a filmed story and at certain key points must make a decision for the protagonist - choices that very easily lead to a messy death for him and the rest of the crew. The timer on the choices makes it quite stressfull, and it's seldom clear what the "right" choice is. Lyckily there's a lot of replayability with four different endings and a whole lot of different scenes to unlock.

I enjoyed it more than I expected. The idea is great, the story, acting, props, scenes, editing, all of it was all right, even the goofy monster effects felt like they fit well. Extra props for going with what appears to be a fair degree of practical effects, as opposed to adding things digitally in post-production. I played this soon after "Heart of the Forest", and the best way I can describe the difference is that the "Heart" felt like it had significant production budget, but failed to fully live up to it (even if by a little), while "Dead Reset" feels like a low-budget B-movie horror that was rather well executed. Out of the downsides, none stand out as much as lack of the decition tree, so one has to either keep track of branches by themselves, or rely on guides. Solid FMV, looking forward to more games from the developers.
