Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nekem kifejezetten tetszett... eleje kicsit vontatott amég beindul minden, de utánna kifejezetten élvezhető. A story vége egyszerűen zseniális szerintem.
Edit: Have now finished the game, few updated thoughts. 1. I now understand why they cast the guy they did for my point #2 in the cons. It doesn't really help the story any but least I see what they attempted. 2. The story is still absolutely terrible but the game is a lot of fun if you like the RE games. So I just focused on the gameplay and not the really horribly written story. 3. Its no surprise that they ripped off RE for this, but they even ripped off stargate... 4. The "easter eggs" are to obviously placed and silly to be neat finds. Was not a fan of that either. I still recommend it because it's a decent length, the gameplay is fairly fun if you like RE games and the level design is pretty nice. I did grow tired of the puzzles, but only because they are identical the entire time with one small addition later on. Soon as I unlocked the challenge for a "very hard" puzzle and could turn on the skip puzzles option, I did that. I will say I am unlikely to replay this game or the original anytime soon which is what sets it apart from the RE games which I have played many times over. Original: I just finally after many years played Daymare 1998 start to finish and had a lot of mixed feelings regarding that game. I grabbed this one off a key site and decided I'd give it a go since I didn't think it could be worse. So far there are a few positives over the first. 1. The blacks are actually black. This game looks gorgeous on an OLED. I have been switching between my desktop hooked up to an S90F and my handheld which is a Legion Go 2. 2. I find many little things improved and makes for a huge leap forward. Reloading no longer requires holding the reload key to reload all shells. The frost grip really sets it apart from other similar games. 1998 just felt like a very poor mans RE knockoff. This at least, while definitely heavily inspired by RE, attempts to do something different. 3. I find the hacking to be worlds better. I'm surprised people are finding it difficult. I skipped every single puzzle I could in 1998 because many were obscure or super tedious to solve. This one I haven't run into a puzzle yet where I have felt that way. 4. I just flat out missed it, but there is both a FOV and a camera distance setting. I personally didn't really need to change the FOV, but I set the camera distance to "Ultra Far" and then it just feels normal. The default is way to close to the MC. Regarding cons, here is what I have for now. May change when I finish the game. 1. They still default to turning your flashlight off ALL THE TIME. Loading into a new section? Flashlight off. Reloading after a death? Flashlight off. It's a very minor thing that just becomes super annoying. Equally annoyed me in 1998. 2. They brought the guy back who voiced Liev, who was a scum bag character from 1998 and really awful, to voice a completely different character. He didn't even try and sound different. So the entire time you hear him talk (which thankfully hasn't been much so far) all I can do is think of the guy from 1998 and how much I despised him. 3. The game, least far as I am, takes place at Area 51 but you'd never know it because it doesn't seem like it. I know we don't really know what Area 51 looks like under ground, but I doubt it looks like this. I don't think the level design is bad, but I don't think they should have used Area 51 as the location. 4. With that, it feels like the one area they failed to improve at all on was story telling. So far it feels like a story being told where the person telling it knows all the backstory so it makes sense to them, but they really needed an outside person to step in and read it start to end and give feedback to point out how little sense it makes. I'll update that if it changes, but I've played for to long to have so little information.

I enjoyed the game's story and atmosphere and it genuinely scared me. Like Daymare: 1998, this game turned out really well too.
l'ambiance pesante présente tout le long est folle ^^ , et en terme de maniabilité du perso et facilité d'utilisation de l'inventaire, c'est bien au dessus de son prédécesseur daymare 1998 :).
Siquel still bad, good base, bad execution, started good, ended painfully The first couple of minutes had me thinking: “kay, this might actually be good.” but then i start run, and animation sucks xD 2 guns, three enemy types, enemies whose entire personality is GRAB PLAYER, a cryo-glove with one actually useful ability, annoying hacking minigames, and a story that gets more ridiculous with every plot twist
I found Daymare 1998,way better than this 1994 unnecessarily prolonged all this corridors, ladders, stairs oh gosh,in addition we have same type of enemies, that spawning over and over again, till the very end,The thing soon to become boring.DLSS5 mod somehow save the day for me.i have a very mix feeling about this game, even though i bought it on sale for 11.99€ i still believe the price is not right yet.For me it's 6/10 average survival horror.
