(Got this game for free via the developer's submission to SteadyGiveaways. Thanks!)
Not the kind of daydreams I'd have...
Daydream is a collection of minigames that involve flicking orbs either to have them stay on the screen or off the screen...most usually the latter. In the end, I could only manage to complete a few challenges in Silent Water's "Swift Escape" and most of the games feel like they'd be more suited for a tablet than a PC given that when I try to flick orb off screen with a mouse, they simply freeze in place. There currently aren't a ton of minigames (about 6 as of this review if I recall correctly), but they all involve either keeping balls on or off the screen... in retrospect, it doesn't feel like much was accomplished from the consumer's standpoint. So, do I recommend this? Sadly, I don't. The reasons include the minigames feeling more-or-less the same given that they all have to deal with handling orbs in some way or another and the pricetag of $5 doesn't quite justify what you'll get in return. Most of the "challenges" feel unfair given the controls from time to time and when it comes to challenges, success doesn't feel satisfying, but failing feels insulting. I feel like this game may be designed for children, but for an adult, I don't really feel any sense of joy after my experience with this particular game. Maybe it's just not for me and someone else may find more value than I did... 1/10 It was but a Daydream that I thought it could be a decent game...perhaps for someone else it may be...
