As you take your first steps into the afterlife, you discover the gates of the Underworld are sealed! The Gods are no longer here to protect you. You must start from nothing, arm yourself against the dangers of the isles, and break the seals of the Olympians which bar you from your eternal destiny in Elysium!
Venture across the ruins and wilds, just beyond the gates of the Underworld. With heightened movement abilities, traverse and endure the natural challenges of coastal cliffs, foggy woods, dark caves, and blistering sands to unlock treasure and power amidst reclaimed temples.
To fight back against the natural wildlife and fallen heroes that came before, you must grow in strength through acquired recipes and upgrades. As you claim victories across the isles, build and adorn impressive Greek structures that rival the halls of Olympus, protect yourself with customizable, crafted gear, and weld together weapons of the Gods.
After you have learned to survive on Veilpoint, you must seek answers across the Crossroads! In the Gods' mysterious absence from the Crossroads, their shrines are overrun by their enemies. To discover the truth and break the Olympic seals, you must venture into their domain and slay the mythic bosses within.
Undertake this deadly odyssey on your own, or recruit up to three friends to aid your journey at any time in online cooperative multiplayer. Give your Spartan personality in our new character creator, with dozens of characterization options from hair styles, complexions, face shapes, and more. Divide and conquer to gather resources and claim the isles in the name of Defiance while sharing objective rewards across players, so you never miss out. Customize your gameplay experience with our numerous server settings, including toggleable drop-on-death, disabling durability, adjusting health and damage, and more.

This game was gifted by a friend, and I love this game. That said, the size of the letter can be hard to read, as well as the hud on the top of the screen to mark where you have to go.
Getting some friends to start it, it's nice. No character coming to friend game like in Valheim BUT you keep your character stats (So I got my big stamina bar :p) Just need a few more things: A way to find rabbits, hare more easily (I feel blind :D ) Let me sit on my chairs (especially for fishing) The fast travel home (seems to be on the roadmap) Maybe some transmog for skin (especially my helmet) A way to display stuff, shields, weapons, boar head on walls A little mysterie by night: Like a Hermes minion watching us from afar, or some "ghost creature" that vanish if we get too close. Make the roaster getting scared of me after a while, he should know now :p Maybe some Nymphs npc/monster next to some water area Anyway great game, really love Poseidon temple once inside, really pretty, it feel like holydays, not a dungeaon, then...i met the cyclops :p
Fun tutorial island, but the next map/island is way too empty and feels artificial. Has a lot of potential, but only scarce enemies and you keep walking around with little to do. One example: the little camps & caves on the first island had recipes, treasure chests etc. but on the big island there is so little to discover.

Dang they improved a lot over time... I didn't expect them to make such huge leaps in development I can't wait for the release. And cudo's to whoever did the character design... they look stunning along with the armours!
Really good for early access game Only thing about that is kinda bad is the fact that it seems repetitive when in the temples as the things around the map are just the shrines around the map but in a new place.
The developers have actually been delivering good content updates. Unlike some... cough cough, Keepsake.
