There is something deeply pleasing about spending time with patterns consisting of shapes and numbers. It is kind of weird that an abstract representation of patterns can occasionally somehow elicit the same kind of zen feeling as nature can, but there it is. I have spent a lot of time with the original Minesweeper. This game expands that formula, makes the whole setup a bit more complex while keeping the gameplay in a similar flow state, which, in combination, feels like the best kind of upgrade to an existing formula.

As a longtime Minesweeper fan, I really wanted to give this game a try. The controls took some getting used to at first, but once I got through the tutorial, it clicked. I had worked my way up in the leaderboards and suddenly two hours had flown by. It’s a really addictive!

Minesweeper with a cyberpunk makeover actually works surprisingly well. I like that you’re not just clearing a board—you have to think about where you’re moving and how quickly you can get through the tower. The firewall adds a nice bit of pressure too.

ゲーム性自体は大好きです！マインスイーパー大好き！ 世界観も含めて、3Dマインスイーパーとして高い完成度だと思います。 ただ、移動やマスのオープンはマウスポインターでやらなければいけないのでしょうか？ （マスの場所の指定自体はマウスポインターである必要がありそうですが。） 私がマウスパッドでやっているのも良くないのですが。 個人的には、少なくとも移動、また可能であればマスのオープン・フラッグまでキーボードで完結したら最高です！

What a fun game! As a Minesweeper fan this was super enjoyable, and I'll definitely be playing more! Highly recommended!

You play as a hacker on a tower, and you have to clear away any blocking tiles so you can keep climbing. That’s the main mechanic in the game, and it’s really satisfying. Controls are simple: You play with mouse only, but you can rotate the camera using the arrow keys on the keyboard. There’s also controller support, but I haven’t tried that yet. There’s a campaign mode where you take on a firewall and guards. Using items and upgrades is highly recommended here! In Time Trial mode, you try to find all the data mines as quickly as possible. Classic high-score hunt. Zen mode is purely for relaxation – clearing towers and unlocking collectible cards. In Odyssey, you collect waypoints and simply try to get as far as possible – like an infinity mode - and you can rack up a fair bit of XP. Speaking of XP, there’s a levelling system, and the content and difficulty levels are unlocked gradually. I really like the visuals, and it runs completely smoothly in high quality on my laptop! I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a challenging, modern puzzle game.

This takes classic Minesweeper and does something fantastic with it. The hacking theme fits the logic-grid gameplay perfectly rather than feeling bolted on and the the visual style is sharp. The music is just right for the mood of this game. The core gameplay loop is fun. Highly recommended.

7/10 Minesweeper but make it vertical and 3-D. There are 3 main gamemodes; The campaign mode is cool and gamer-y, bringing a kind of roguelike vibe with enemies, consumables, and an overworld. But I think it really shines with the time trial mode, where you enter a flow state solving the puzzle as fast as your brain can go. The daily leaderboard makes it competitive and addictive. Finally, the odyssey mode is all about achieving your personal best without time constraints, where you try and go as far as possible without making any mistakes. Each mode is challenging in a different way, but the core gameplay is simple and elegant.
