Database Detective: Minor Crimes Division

Honestly, it's an absolute masterpiece. All that retro vibe, the amazing humor which I really love! I couldn't imagine that detective cases could be so lighthearted and intriguing at the same time. The cases started getting harder after Chapter3, and I think the manual isn't very informative for beginners. But it's absolutely challenging and the cases make your brain work harder. All cases are absolutely unique. Love it <3

Пока раскрыл только первые 5 дел (надеюсь из впереди еще много), но уже могу отметить интересные сюжетки, хорошо продуманные детективные линии, качественную озвучку и юмор. Гайды по SQL вроде визуально выглядят хорошо, не вчитывался.. но думаю новички смогут разобраться, хоть разрабы и не ведут за ручку (но тут есть подсказчик в уголке на крайний случай). В общем, всем советую, 10/10

SQL Queries to a game! :D I had a hard time trying to solve the 4rth case!... Now I just started the 5th! It's not just queries. Its solving cases with SQL queries! Very interesting game! :D

A++++ would query again - I got one last case to solve, but its 2am and i need to hang my hat for the night. BUT BEFORE I DO!, I just wanted to recommend this game. Im not proficient with SQL, but I know my way around a nested query. Even if you don't know SQL but love puzzles, you'll like this. But if you know how to SELECT * then you're halfway there.

This a delightfully weird game. As I'm writing this I am on the 8th level and I have some solid leads and I'll be able to pick up my detective notebook next time I get a chance to play and find the culprit. My level of SQL experience is that I learned it in school many years ago and occasionally have to mess with it for work, but not often and generally not in any complex way. So I went into this understanding the basics of SQL but not exactly being a genius at it. The puzzles are well made with you needing to look at the weird in game internet and do some deductive reasoning, there's a great level where you have to follow the money to find out who killed your bosses kid in a MMORPG. So this game isn't just about writing increasingly complex SQL statements (though it is also about that) you need to learn about the background of the people you're investigating, and link internet profiles to real people. So it's somehow incredibly cartoonish and silly, but still immersive and interesting.
