Dark City: Amsterdam Collector's Edition

Hidden object/ puzzle / adventure game set in a 17th or 18th Century Amsterdam setting. There are some good puzzles in this game and the setting is a nice representation of the city. Some of the names are Scandinavian instead of Dutch, and some of the Dutch is pronounced incoherently (Leidseplein) but the game is good overall.

Good addition to the series. I did not run into any glitches.

im refunding this game hard,it gave me very hard ocd driving me crazy with bug in the main menu with when i whent to extras i couldnt go back,the X i the right upper coner wasnt there,and at the beginning i had full screen but try everything,to get back fullscreen becouse suddenly i didnt,but no hope,and not gonne play this without the game being fix :(

Fun HoGs and puzzle games, a few slightly unnpredictable, and good animations. Enjoyable 5 house.

Disappointing entry. The characters just didn't hit right and there wasn't enough character interactions. The puzzles were also very effortless which got irritating. The match game in the mystery notebook was fun.

C'est vraiment un jeu agréable. On est dans une atmosphère mystérieuse et on se sent totalement dans l'univers du jeu. J'ai adoré ce jeu et je recommande.

Nice story but not that long. I experienced just one glitch. It has a bonus Chapter. Got it reduced.

Gorgeous game with beautiful graphics with a stylish flare to it that really brings the city to life. HO scenes are also lovely as well. Puzzles are a little on the easy side, but fun enough. I enjoyed it, mainly due to the artwork that I can see a great deal of work went into, it's also decently long, so more bang for your buck. Just a solid HOPA

One of my favourite HOPs I've played thus far, and I've played quite a lot! You play as an investigator, who quickly has "the enemy" also trying to take you out too! With lots of thematic mini games and HOPs, you'll really enjoy what this game has to offer! You never feel out of character in HOPs, as they always relate to the case in some way. And the detective folder with the deductions is a great addition to the game! Really sad they didn't add the in-game achievements into Steam, but that's common for Big Fish games. What IS a fun add on is the game of Battleship within the game after you finish the ship collection! I noticed it by accident when I went to the Collections page where they show you the achievements for collecting all the hidden ships on the map, and when you select "PLAY" up pops a game of battleship! :D Awesome!
