About
Dark Age Legends is a game with turn-based combat mechanics where strategic decisions are essential, not only during battles but throughout your journey. Along the way, you’ll need to choose the most righteous path and recruit the most suitable champions for your team. Unlock new abilities for these champions and transform them into legends.
Enemies encountered may appear in large groups or huge monsters.
It is dangerous to travel alone!
The right team, the right equipment, the right choices, and the right strategy are crucial on the road to victory.
Each character has unique skills and a distinct play-style, some can be very strong in the right role and right team.
Craft special equipment with materials looted from the enemies you encounter on the path you choose and be fully equipped to fight big bosses.
A battle strategy must be determined at the beginning of the road, long before the battle begins...

Very good indie tactical game drowned under punishing mechanics and very strange decisions of the developers. Full of bugs, torture and idiotic unbalanced gameplay. DId the developers test the game before publishing? Seems like not, they did the same thing with marketing - absolutely nothing. They provide it as a "adventure and exploration", exploration to what? to suffering? - Runs are long and boring. When you rich high level boss you just dont have enough heal, enough power or enough action points. Even if you lead all your heroes to level 10, it suddenly appears the the boss have and ultra health restoration ability so ♥♥♥♥ off and die. (Hello, Lady) - No choices between heroes or the ability to replace heroes if something dont work. Dont like it? Start the beginning. - The same poor choice of liquids, armor from the traders in cities. Roguelike, you say? Choose wisely? It doesnt matter at all, because all the enemies have ultra x2 damage, they always hit 2 or 3 times during battle when you have to wait even with upgraded reloaded ablilities. Great. - Debuff? Enemies often dont give a f.. about your debuffs and continue to hit as always, f..ck off with your debuffs. - Random hits to players lead to a persistent beating of only one hero till he dies, Thank you! Good mechanics! - Bugs, unclear hit points, ultrastrong enemies and no any way to heal, to trade or to choose something else in armor before battle with strong megaboss. Only debuffs, debuffs, bleeding. Thank you very much for mechanics. Something should be done with patches to fix this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ balance and some points in mechanics, otherwise Dark Age Legends (Suckers will be better ) impassable piece of indie crap. But according to steam discussion tread they dont give a f..ck. and even dont answer to players posts, Good job. Thank you for emotions (no).
I noticed this game during Next fest. It really stands out among games that try to simulate that old school D&D Tabletop feel , and it succeeds at this task very well. The old school pixel graphic , strategic turn based combat , branching story adventure cleverly done as deck of cards in front of you. It all feels great and I must say I was hooked from the first moment. And every new run feels fresh with new opportunities for builds and sweet LOOT ! Recomended to anyone that is looking for solid coffebreak D&D feel game !
An incredibly fun, yet very hard game. The game is masterfully designed and written. The upgrading system is well thought-out, and each dungeon demands careful planning. I do find it punitively hard at times: the player's actions are permanent, so when you reach a point you can't get over, you are condemned to either keep shooting your shoot at a hopeless battle, or to start all over again. So, this feature is like a more frustrating version of perma-death, to my taste. But don't let it stop you. Starting over means you get to try things differently, and you WILL find out something new each time. Totally worth it.
fun game
Combat mechanics are pretty flat. Often forced to trade hits. Difficulty feels a bit punishing, but maybe it gets better. Idk, just not any really satisfying moments in the early game to get me interested, so I returned it.
Game is fun but it lacks in some depth. worth the price though for how cheap it is. late game can be a bit of a slog and balance isnt their yet in those parts. (game was given to me for free by the devs.)
not good. I played only 4h and steam refuses refund.
Хорошый рогалик
非常有趣的游戏,但是有很多bug,期待后续更新。 Very interesting game, but there are many bugs, looking forward to subsequent updates.
