Webcam
Minivideo(Twitter)→https://twitter.com/_Rlyeh/status/1668918078149885952
EA Rhythm + 70+ songs + costumes = Let's Dance like game aka dancercise. Make sure to not have anything breakable near when you play. Use webcam or phone cam to play. Burn baby, burn. More updates to come and looking forward to that.
Follow our curator for similar games
An ambitious music game project that impresses with its starter content. Brave approach on the part of the author, as he chose a niche topic for the game and as for this moment it promises to be cool. I look forward to further development. ⣿⣿⣿⣿⡿⢋⣴⣿⣿⠿⢟⣛⣛⣛⠿⢷⡹⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣆⠹⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⡿⢁⣾⣿⣿⣴⣿⣿⣿⣿⠿⠿⠷⠥⠱⣶⣶⣶⣶⡶⠮⠤⣌⡙⢿⣿ ⣿⡿⢛⡁⣾⣿⣿⣿⡿⢟⡫⢕⣪⡭⠥⢭⣭⣉⡂⣉⡒⣤⡭⡉⠩⣥⣰⠂⠹ ⡟⢠⣿⣱⣿⣿⣿⣏⣛⢲⣾⣿⠃⠄⠐⠈⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠄⠁⠃⢸⣿⣿⡧ ⢠⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣇⣊⠙⠳⠤⠤⠾⣟⠛⠍⣹⣛⣛⣢⣀⣠⣛⡯⢉⣰ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⡶⠶⢒⣠⣼⣿⣿⣛⠻⠛⢛⣛⠉⣴⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡿⢛⡛⢿⣿⣿⣶⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⡈⢿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠸⣿⡻⢷⣍⣛⠻⠿⠿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠿⢇⡘⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⣝⠻⠶⣬⣍⣛⣛⠓⠶⠶⠶⠤⠬⠭⠤⠶⠶⠞⠛⣡⣿ ⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⣶⣬⣭⣍⣙⣛⣛⣛⠛⠛⠛⠿⠿⠿⠛⣠⣿⣿
Not recommended. It feels like a Kinect game but with a normal webcam. Either way the game has room for improvement, for those who don't have room in the house, please let us adjust the body layout for camera recognition. But please don't turn this into a failure that was Kinect.
No response from Developer at all especially on Discord. its been a year and its still in Early Access. I like the concept but there is no movement or update from Dev team since then. At least with similar games like STARRI or DANCEDASH, the Devs DO Reply and give us updates regardless if they cant do an update. at LEAST THERE IS COMMUNICATION. as for the game, there is no Offset option. no male body type option, The Chart making is terrible and note quantity and placement are all uncomfortably wrong. It needs more notes and the "Connect-the-dot" notes is a terrible idea. needs to be removed. And yes, I played exclusvely on the HARDEST difficulties only. and the hardest difficulty even on Charts with ratings of 12 have very little notes and most of the notes just make you pose in place. If this is a dance kind of game, make use of notes that make us move! Developer! hit detection is sloppy especially when you do KNEE notes. some notes are just to easy, all you have to do is put your hand or feet in it. there should be more movement in the notes to incorporate more movement in the song.
This game seems cool but there are some nitpicky complaints I have about it. I wish there was a way to do the rhythm game with mouse as well. My room is not big enough to support the camera actually being able to pick up my body. Speaking of bodies, it's extremely hard to tell which body types have chests and which don't. Even more surprising to me was that the game only came with one body type, a girls one. Needing to get the rest in the store. I think there should be another free body type included that has no chest, similar to how you already include a few free but basic shirts, shorts, and shoes already. Also maybe it's because its supposed to be controlled with the camera, but I wish I could rotate my character in the store. If its able to do that already I dont know how to do it with the mouse controls
I was gifted this game by someone very, very special, however I did intend on buying it on my own and did not expect this person to gift me the game. Getting it for free does not change my view on the game since I wanted to buy it on my own eventually. I am also omitting the fact that my bedroom is small and does not allow for me to have a full range of motion as a critique, as that is my own personal experience and others may have larger rooms than mine to allow for more play space. The positives about this game during my first hour with it: The game is absolutely adorable, the visuals are cute, soft and simple. The music selection is also fantastic. The character customization, while in its early stages, has loads of potential for people to make adorable avatars for themselves for use not only in-game but as original characters. The tutorial is very good, the visual clarity of what you need to hit makes the game easy to understand and the options such as changing scroll/circle approach speed (which is absolutely necessary for any rhythm game) and purchasing items with in-game currency are very great. The negatives: I had a hard time setting up my phone as a camera and did experience a pretty severe bug where, when I disconnected a webcam the game was trying to use during calibration, it disconnected my monitor from my PC (only once), I eventually got it working via USB, but I am experiencing some pretty severe movement delays in-game even though I'm using a wired connection from my phone and the external program I use to hook my phone up to my PC does not show such an intense delay as it does in-game (I had tested two of them recommended in the Discord server and only one of them worked properly). I cannot hold any of these against the game right now since its so early on in its release, but the delay in movement makes charts difficult to play right now so I hope any issues with that are addressed as soon as possible. Character models sometimes have clipping issues on the joints (primarily around the elbows) but it is not a big issue and doesn't break anything. I really, reeeeeeeally want this game to thrive alongside other home rhythm games, and fixing a game is easier said than done, but I really hope dspk gets all these silly bugs and phone camera-related issues fixed because this game would be super duper fun if it werent for those. Whether or not I'd recommend? I'm on the fence (I wish Steam had a 'neutral' option), but since it is such a new game and I look forward to seeing it develop, I personally recommend it only to people who are die-hard rhythm gamers that wish to support the developers and creator, but would NOT recommend it for people who wish to experience a rhythm game at its full potential with 100% smooth functionality. I will continue to play despite these issues, though, because it's a cute, simple and silly game with a ton of potential to be awesome!
