Danger in Pompeii

An engaging and well paced puzzle/adventure game. It's not quite a point-and-click and not just an edugame either - there's some tension in the final sequence and I enjoyed the humour that popped up in places. I think the translation/narration detracts a little bit from the overall polished look and feel - gameplay is fun and I enjoyed the puzzles, although it's definitely for a younger audience. Looking forward to a second run to get the last few achievements!

A pretty short game with nice visuals thats great for someone interested in the time period. All in all a fun and informative game

I got this game during a sale, thinking why not? And I'm really glad I did. It's a fun game that aims to teach you about Roman history. It's not a hard game and the history stuff was really interesting. I learnt loads. And you can really tell that a lot of heart went into this game. If it looks like it's your type of game, go for it.

A fun learning game for the kiddos

È un gioco realizzato da studenti per studenti. Chi gioca deve quindi essere pronto a passare sopra qualche ingenuità nelle meccaniche di gameplay talvolta fin troppo semplice e benevola nei confronti del giocatore e dall'approccio didattico non sempre integrato in quello ludico. Comunque come opera prima è abbastanza pulita e carina e invito i giovani sviluppatori di Danger in Pompei a continuare, e ad andare oltre il mondo scolastico.

Cute educational adventure puzzle game mainly aimed at 10-12-year-olds.

4个小时可通关。解谜难度不大，失败了重试不限次数。支线任务奖励丰厚，路上会经常刷新爆金币的花瓶，而且后期马车跳转收费极低，钱根本花不完。地图可以直接查看科普信息点，妈妈再也不用担心我因为学习迷路了。缺点是没有汉化版本，科普信息点音频没字幕，英语中掺杂少量拉丁文，只能边玩边查字典。键鼠交互，人物移动只能靠键盘，对手柄兼容性很差，反人类设计。通关后不能再读档，只能重玩到火山爆发前才能有最全的科普信息。

I had such a fantastic time solving the quests, helping townsfolk with everyday problems, and piecing together the secrets of the city. The comic-book style visuals bring ancient Rome to life, and exploring the Forum, Theater, and baths felt both immersive and relaxing.

Really liked this game, the comic style and history stuff makes it super cool!

As a history lover, I'm always excited to see a game use these kinds of themes and I thought Dangers in Pompeii did a great job at this! This game is also incredibly educational and has classroom-supporting features which are an excellent way to help support ancient studies. I very much enjoyed the story and was impressed that each "area's" puzzle was as complex as it was, being multi-step and not simply a quick solve. No spoilers (in case you're unfamiliar with the events of 79AD), but the ending had me sweating in a good way while still providing a satisfying ending for you as a player. My biggest gripe with the game was just that there are no volume controls, aside from turning music and sound on/off. It would be great if the game had a sound adjustment feature so you could have something like lower music, etc. The game took me about 2.5-3 hours to thoroughly enjoy and attempt to 100% and is well worth the price point in my opinion.
