Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best RU #84, worst CN #96 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Sep 9 → 8.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Este juego se siente como un fanfic de Wattpad o como si un mono hubiera escrito infinitamente en una máquina de escribir. Para entender el final tenes que responder porque el prisionero eligió el pan antes que la llave type ♥♥♥♥.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I understand why opinions are so divided, and strangely, the game is even better due to the same reasons. This game is, for me, the best of the trilogy, no debates allowed, and it even enters my top 5 games of all time (and not in 5th place). This game contains: - The best overall cast (not individually because I still think Nagito and Chiaki are above). - The best soundtrack, even if at times the game might play a track that breaks the mood a little. This is the main flaw of the game. - The best trials, wether for mysteries and revelations (maybe except trials 2 and 3 which are more average) or for the mechanics and minigames. - The best ending. I truly love and hate it at the same time, like a toxic relationship xD - The best post-game content. - The best 💯. There are just 2 bad points about it: first is that achievements are missing for collecting all of the handbook's wallpapers and skills, and the second is the horrible Monolithic because the minigame really needs to be reworked or something, it's too random and take soooooooo long. - The best overarching story, twists, and a completely different atmosphere. - The best animations - Sadly, not the best prologue. It was great but the pacing wasn't quite there.
Story: They simply dropped the ball at the end. There were many fun segments in this game and I expected an interesting twist, especially because they were referencing the first game so much. But the end was a slap in the face. A "♥♥♥♥ you!" to the fans of the first and second game. And because of the ending, it all felt like a huge waist of time. And worse, it made me question if I was not wasting my time in the first few games too. Gameplay: There were HUGE problems with the input registration and input mapping on PC, which made some minigames basically impossible. Here is the breakdown: Lie Bullets: Great, an improvement over the old "collect argument and fire it back" system. Rebuttal Showdown: Without cut limitations, it is now much more fun! Hangman's Gambit Ver. 3.0: Not as bad as DR2, but not as good as DR1, and I think the translation is sometimes wacky (looking at you, "implanted"). Argument Armament: Due to the inconsistent input reaction and the fact that it shows Xbox controller buttons, it was at some points borderline impossible. Debate Scrum: It's very good. I have nothing to object. Mind Mine: Useless but harmless. Psyche Taxi: I liked it, but I could see this one being a bit annoying for some. Mass Panic Debate: It's just annoying.

Horrible ending genuinely a waste of 40 hours
Usually I like to have a detailed review about the games I played. I did this with the previous Danganronpa games so far and honestly I would love to do it with V3 as well, but I think I'm should to handle this game with bit less explanation for a reason. All I'm going to say, this game has the best gameplay in general out of the three games and overall it's pretty enjoyable too. The minigames, investigations and the trials plays out alright, and although there were a few times when the progression in the trials was a bit weird, but it wasn't that common for me as with the previous game. Visually is fitting for the series, but has a bit more detail then the previous games. Although some of the character arts were a bit over the top with the facial reactions, but it wasn't too bad. I think the story is by far the strongest here in general if I look at it objectively. This game has by far the most thought out cases and happenings overall and the cast is vibrant aswell... maybe too vibrant compared to the previous games' cast which might make this game harder to like for some because of some of the characters. The additional games are not that great, but still far better than in the previous games. Just looking at the facts, Danganronpa V3 is a pretty decent game in the series, gameplay wise is probably the best of all the games I have played in it and it had a pretty good story overall, I think if you are a fan of the series you should not skip this one, especially if you have played the other games. I strongly recommend to experience this game from the first hand and not read or watch anything about it, not just because of the spoilers but also in order to make your own proper opinion at the end. All I'm going to say, although I think it was worth it to play this game fully, I am still conflicted if I overall like the whole game or not at the end, even after days playing it. If you have played this one, you probably know what I'm talking about, but if you haven't played it then you should experience it.
It's goyslop (played on psvita, bought it in a bundle on steam.) Pros: - Amazing OST - VA is good - Scrum debates Cons: - The twist - No native linux build unlike 1/2 - The twist - The characters (especially their talents) The danganronpa team grew tired of making these games after 2 and it shows
