Let's face it, this has no buisness having a 20€ price tag. Bought this on sale and still feel ripped off. And I get it, this was made to earn some quick cash by utilizing fanservice, which I don't mind, if it's done well. This isn't. The gameplay is... sad. One side is a very boring board game. Gives Mario Party without the minigames, or other players, or different boards, or random target locations... or the fun. The other side is the base RPG-Maker battle system. There's also a Gacha you pull your characters from and it's pretty much useless. You can farm currency or just buy the character you want with real money, but the characters are basically all the same with the exception of having one of three different types. Higher rarity does not mean more power, they just have more skill slots and everything else is how well you do in the board game. But whatever, this is a fanservice game, so what about the fanservice? There's swimsuit outfits for everyone. Plot? What plot? Fanservice without plot. What really saddens me is, how the intro is actually really funny and shows well how chaotic this could be, but afterwards there is no story, just little scenes with a small handful of characters each time, which would be a great idea, but the majority of these moments feel uninspired and boring, with only few occasional fun moments. There's also some questionable decisions here, but I just wanna mention that they did Mukuro dirty by keeping her dressed as Junko. She has no reason to keep that up in this scenario. TL;DR: Don't. This is not worth your time or money. If you are like me and adore the idea of the casts coming together, check out fanfiction instead. And if you wanna see them in swimsuits - fanart.
10/10 game, I get to see my beloved Sayaka in a bikini! Jokes aside, this was surprisingly fun, despite never being a fan of the Talent Development Plan from V3, and if I didn't commit myself to 100 percenting all of the games in the series, I wouldn't have continued with that mode, or even bought and played this game. But in a way, I'm kinda glad that I did pick up and play this game, as it was SIGNIFICANTLY better than the Talent Development Plan. (I don't like the Talent Dev Plan in case you couldn't tell) It still has a few of the same problems as Talent Dev, mainly that levelling up characters is depended entirely on luck, and if you get a bad run, you'll have to start all over again in order to get a usable character for the battle mode, so in short: you have to be the real life Nagito. Also there is a lot of grinding to be done in the battle mode (which is now required for achievements, along with other things that weren't in V3). But to me, developing characters feels a lot easier than in the Talent Dev, and the Battle mode is significantly better, as I am not forced to encounter enemies everytime I take 2 steps, now I choose when I want to slaughter enemies with my beloved characters from across the series. I wouldn't call it my favourite game in the series by a pretty wide margain (V3 is my favourite), but for quite a few moments, I had a smile on my face with my time on this game as I progressively got more and more character cards, and seeing all my beloved characters hanging out and having a good time (And not worry about having to kill eachother). My time is almost up with the series until 2x2 comes out, but I'll look back on this game fondly once I get all of the achievments (Without spending a single extra cent on this game). Your experience may VERY MUCH vary though, as you might not be able to get a near perfect run with Maki, who can now one-shot anything in her path, including the final boss like I did.
