Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I want to like this game because the concept sounds pretty good on paper: a big open-world mech fighter with tons of mech customization and stuff to do. Unfortunately, the combat (i.e. the important part of the game) feels incredibly clunky, the open-world seems to be mostly fodder, and the second time I ever went back to the base I was so beset by graphics glitches that I had to close the game. I'll see if another hour can redeem it, but given the quality of the combat I'm fairly certain it won't. --- To be a little more in-depth regarding the combat: You can equip multiple weapons (and shields, etc.) to both hands and both shoulders. To cycle through your weapons you use left and right on the D-pad, and everything after that gets really awkward. In the thick of combat you generally don't want to have to stop moving, but it's basically mandated by the default control scheme. One thing that really vexes me is that reloading is done by holding B and pressing right on the D-pad. It feels like madness, but when you have to jam all sorts of functionality onto a limited set of buttons I can understand why things might go so awry. Beyond the wonky control scheme, combat itself is lackluster. Nothing really feels like it packs any "oomph", and every combat encounter no matter how minor feels like a series of wet noodles being flung back and forth until the enemy finally explodes and you can get some loot. Movement around the world is generally pretty good, and I do love the verticality the mechs afford the player, but movement in combat is pretty boring. You lock onto someone, maybe dodge a hit, then do your combo, grab them, and maybe hit them again. Rinse and repeat. You might fly around a bit (which is made all the more confusing when in close quarters), but that seems to be about it. If you're looking for mech combat, just go to Armored Core.

I am a pretty big fan of the first Daemon X Machina. There are a lot of things that I think this game does better. The combat feels a lot more impactful, the customization is on par with the original, and the look is great. The switch to an open world is interesting but so far its pretty great.
An absolute masterpiece for anyone who loves mecha and exo suits. From the suit design and high speed aerial movement to the heavy, satisfying combat, everything feels peak. The feel of piloting the suit is incredibly immersive powerful and smooth. Absolute MechaSuit
Heard the game is like open world EDF mix with Armored Core 6 but when i tried its kinda also like Monster Hunter fighting the big enemies. Really like the game but damn i need a higher spec then my current one to actually play it smooth without time to time fps drop. Guess i just wait until i get a new higher spec in the future maybe.... maybe T-T
no os encanta comprar un juego y que no puto abra porque UNREAL ENGINE 5 y DIRECT X 12 aparentemente son vitales para el gaming moderno? Lo usare para farmear cromos, poco mas puedo hacer
No.
와...시발... 똥싸는 도중 스토리를 짜도 이거보단 좋겠다.
The game is fun and certainly worth a try. Might not have the depth as some other mech games, but that has always been something even the first game was accused of. So if you liked the first one, this has a strong chance to be also enjoyable. Exploration is varied enough, though I wish stamina management was a little more generous. The story is goofy, silly and never sticks the landing, but hey thats half the charm sometimes just doesn't have the same confidence as something like God Eater. Like, its a solid 7/10. Ain't gonna soak your breaches but you'll find yourself playing it as a low stakes game you can just kinda fiddle with in your own time.
Worth buying at a very significant discount (50% or more). Other than that - it's a game that came out obsolete, undercooked and overpriced.
Story - 5/10
Story in DxM was confusing, but at least it felt heavily Armored Core inspired, just with a lot of anime elements to it. The story in DxM TS is... even more confusing, uninspired and trying way too hard to be epic, but is severely hindered by overexaggerated voice acting and underwhelming visuals+gameplay. In short, the game tries to sound and act much more badass than it actually looks and feels.
Gameplay - 6/10
Pros

Better build flexibility than DxM, more weapon variety, some cool active skills. Introduction of two handed weapons, that can even be used with gunarms, is really neat.
Somewhat better combat, especially melee (more unique animations, combos, etc.)
Energy weapons are actually worth using, now that they don't consume femto
Open world instead of strictly missions, which at times makes farming a bit easier. But the best gear is still hidden behind boss fights on arenas, so not that much of an advantage
Able to actually beat almost the whole game in coop, not just two separate game modes
Cons

Open world itself is barebones, very generic
Transports, animals - are garbage. Complete waste of time, effort and money on the developer side. Why on earth would we even use this ♥♥♥♥, when our Arsenal can literally outpace ALL of them in cruise mode?
Switch of the Arsenals from being Armored Core-like mechs to Anthem-like exoskeletons. The former looked way more badass and believable. The latter just use antigrav scifi ♥♥♥♥ to hold most heavy weapons in mid air.
The combat is still pretty damn clunky; enemies are bullet sponges most of the time
The game is even more grindy than DxM. The introduction of mutators just made it absurd

Graphics - 4/10
The first game was a port from Switch, which is why it looked cheap, but still managed to look okay and stylized. This game... just feels like it should've came out in 2010 or something. The facial animations and character models are VERY bad. The overall graphics are not nearly enough to compete with any modern title. The level art is very barebones and generic, especially the dungeons. Just endless corridors with very plain, repeating textures, and barely anything to interact with inside them.
Sound - 6/10
Voice acting is very anime and exaggerated. Soundtrack is... okay. Sound effects are fine for the most part. Nothing noteworthy, nothing memorable.
Conclusion
5/10. Rather sad, really. DxM was heavily inspired by AC, and was relatively welcomed by the fans of mecha games, simply because there wasn't many alternatives to go around. This one, however, released after AC6. Naturally it doesn't even remotely compare to it, but what's worse - it doesn't really match even it's predecessor. The devs really wanted to achieve bigger scale for this game, but they either didn't have the talent, or time, or resources (or a bit of everything) to make this game succeed.
