Terrible game. The game was made in 2017 so that is no excuse for it having horrible graphics. The story of the game is that you are this military guy who has a base out in the middle of nowhere. You drive around in this stupid go kart and shoot these random bandits that have cyborg commanders. The developers were so lazy that when you go into third person to drive the car there is no-one sitting in the driving seat as if the car is magically driving itself. There is no map at all so it's really annoying when you find yourself at a dead end and have to go all the way back. Oh and if you accidentally flip the car you cannot flip it back over and have to walk across the whole desert just to find another one. Also you literally can drive right through rocks but crouching behind them somehow blocks bullets?? Guys don't waste your money on this stupid game.
Worst game I have played. Poor visual quality and rocks in this game is just for visual you can't hide behind them for cover and you just run through them. Aim feels weird, enemies hits you from far away, grenades hitbox is stupid its easy to hit yourself, the story is bad. The language is bad but that doesn't matter for me. First time I played and I just jumped straight into being shot at with no explanation why I was there. I recieved this on sale and thought I could play this for the achievements but for me it is unplayable. I have only played for 30 min but will not for one more minute.
Decent weapon handling, enemies, driving mechanics, dark atmosphere with background musics and (some) odd voice acting. Have a spare hour or two to have some mindless action with some sort of Quake-like indie game.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Cyborg Arena, developed and published by Devdan Games, is a budget first-person shooter that blends open-environment traversal with wave-based arena combat in a post-apocalyptic setting dominated by hostile machines. The premise is straightforward: humanity has fallen, cyborg forces control the wasteland, and you are among the last remaining soldiers fighting for survival. While the narrative framework is minimal, it provides enough context to justify the constant firefights and scavenging that define the experience. The game is divided primarily between an adventure mode and arena-based combat scenarios. In the adventure portion, players traverse wide desert landscapes in a vehicle, typically a dune buggy or armored transport, navigating between hostile zones and objectives. The open terrain gives a sense of scale, but it can also feel sparse, with long stretches of sand punctuated by cyborg outposts or defensive lines. The addition of vehicles adds mobility and a layer of variety to gameplay, yet driving mechanics can feel stiff or imprecise at times. Exploration revolves around pushing through enemy barricades, gathering weapons, and surviving waves long enough to progress to the next objective. Combat forms the core of the experience. Players have access to a selection of firearms, including automatic weapons, shotguns, and futuristic energy-based rifles. The weapons provide distinct firing patterns and visual effects, offering some variation in playstyle. Encounters often consist of multiple cyborg enemies attacking simultaneously from mid- to long-range distances. Enemy AI tends to be direct and aggressive, relying more on numbers and projectile spam than tactical maneuvering. While this can create chaotic firefights that feel intense in short bursts, repetition may set in due to limited behavioral variety among foes. Arena mode shifts the focus away from exploration and places players in confined maps where survival against escalating enemy waves becomes the primary objective. These segments introduce random power-ups such as temporary invulnerability, increased speed, or unlimited ammunition. The boost system injects moments of high-energy chaos, especially when multiple bonuses overlap, allowing players to mow through enemies with exaggerated force. Arena matches are generally more concentrated and fast-paced than the open-world sections, making them appealing for players seeking immediate action without extended travel time. Visually, the game presents functional environments with a clear emphasis on readability over intricate detail. Desert landscapes, metallic structures, and scrapyard-themed arenas form the bulk of the visual palette. While textures and environmental detail may appear simplistic compared to larger-scale shooters, the art direction maintains coherence. Enemy designs are recognizable and mechanical in nature, fitting the dystopian theme. Sound design supports the action with weapon fire, explosions, and ambient effects, though it rarely stands out as a defining element. Over time, updates have attempted to refine systems such as projectile behavior, HUD layout, and map design. These improvements reflect ongoing development efforts to smooth rough edges and enhance playability. However, the overall feel remains that of a small-scale indie shooter striving to deliver a larger experience than its production scope fully supports. The ambition to combine open-world traversal, vehicular combat, and wave survival modes is evident, but integration between these elements can feel somewhat disjointed. Ultimately, the game appeals most to players who enjoy straightforward shooter mechanics without expecting high-end polish or deep narrative immersion. Its strengths lie in offering accessible, chaotic firefights and a mix of exploration and arena survival within a low-cost package. Its weaknesses stem from repetitive enemy encounters, uneven vehicle handling, and limited environmental depth. For those drawn to modest indie FPS titles that prioritize action over complexity, it provides a serviceable diversion. Players seeking refined mechanics, expansive storytelling, or sophisticated AI systems may find it lacking, but within its scope, it delivers a consistent, combat-focused experience set against a stark mechanical apocalypse. Rating: 5/10
Cyborg Arena is a shooter game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world infested by Cyborgs. You are a soldier, driving around in the desert and trying to find an evacuation point. Along your journey you need to battle hordes of cyborgs, which sounds fun... but it isn't! In CSGO you learn to make headshots, in this game you learn that a kick is just as effective if not more deadly. I was shooting endlessly on enemies but they wouldn't go down, so I ran towards them and found out I had to kick them instead... I'm absolutely speechless lol... The game looks absolutely terrible... The enemies always know where you are, you can't hit the enemies but they can hit you for some reason. Even though, Driving around feels bad because the car often doesn't react, it is your best friend since enemies can't damage the car so you can't get killed inside it. You can drive over the enemies too, so stay inside your car at all times! The map is filled with big rocks, and you can drive right through them, at every border there are a few obstacles where they want you to get out of the car to shoot another horde of cyborgs... But I found out you could also drive over the higher mountains so you can skip those boring and super annoying hordes too. The list of the things wrong with this game is endless! Sorry for sounding so negative or ungrateful since I received this game for free, but I find honesty very important! I don't think anyone should buy this game because its an absolute mess.
