场外的信息不讨论了纯粹探讨游戏本身，美术挺好看的直接吸引我盲狙了。流程很短，故事倒是不复杂，但是看完会发现竹马线才是故事重心，绝对绕不开的程度，虽然2选1我也会更吃竹马但感觉另一条线像超市促销有买有送有点难蚌（）感觉兄弟线确实太兄弟了虽然喜欢脸但又不是很好磕，竹马线又感觉这个执念来得太奇怪了虽然不是不行。还有师兄的2人组cp感太明显了感觉为另一作作做联动（ 为了恐怖来的话可以一玩虽然故事都蛮简单的，为了磕cp的话就不太推荐吧（）除非特别喜欢重男竹马这个xp

I have serious gripes about the English localization, but it's adequate enough to convey the story. Easily worth the 4 dollars if you like Horror and BL. The game's description is accurate with it being about 85% horror to 15% BL. To be specific about the localization issues... some UI like in the save menu isn't translated, the game name isn't translated in the steam library which makes it very difficult to search, there are numerous translation errors with most being unusual tense choices, a couple lines that don't really make any sense, at least one line that wasn't translated at all, and when the protagonist can't understand what someone's saying the game gives you Chinese sound clues (parts of Chinese characters) instead of an English equivalent (fragments of words from the phrase translated into English). Despite these issues I don't think the average player will have any trouble following the story.

Visual Novel Horror with a honey slant of BL? Sign me up! Finally in English, it is a must try out for those who like the horror genre and ambient jumpscares rather than cheap flashes. This review contains slight spoilers of locations, but is mostly spoiler free storywise. The art style is fantastic and the game's story telling is impeccable. It is not for the faint hearted as it contains a lot of heavy subjects. Still, the game's resolution and message is rather clear and the players may find a satisfying outcome(or not, depending on your choices you may get bad endings too!) There were a few mistranslations, like calling Yang Qing female pronouns when the cast goes to Shanghai(it goes a bit back and forth between female and male pronouns in one go) and some parts of the journal entries not being complete or cut off. There is also a line not translated when you visit Xia Shixian the second time. Thank you so much for taking the time to translate the game to English! I hope Pinyuan Tales will have an english dub too, but unfortunately it is not currently planned for release(confirmed in the gallery) I will wait patiently for when - if - the day comes. Thanks for such an amazing experience!

优点：完成度比较高，该有的都有。这么说好像有点奇怪，不该是基本要求吗？但是其实很多游戏连基本要求都达不到；喜欢这种实拍+手绘的美术风格；氛围营造也还算到位，评价依然是该呈现的呈现到了。 缺点：文案有点拖沓，人物刻画有点平，不太吸引我，我是冲着灵异的部分玩下去的，但是这部分内容有点少；最后游戏流程有点短，但是介于定价也可以接受吧。 我的评分：3/5

感觉限制于游戏体量的原因，结局稍微有些匆忙了。能感受到作者的用心，互动性还是很强的，也很清晰明了地展示了结局收集的攻略，体验感非常不错，剧情也很对我口味。
