Cubic Enigma

There are better suited puzzle games around here, with more levels and less frustrating experiences like "there isn't a beautiful solution here but I get around it" or "why on Earth would there be clocks here, it isn't consistent". It really is a cheap "I will make my own The Talos Principle by copying the basic elements, and I will make the rules unclear enough to hope for players to spend slightly more than 2 hours and not get a refund".

I so wanted to like this - it had the vibe of The Talos Principle and was pure logic, but while some puzzles were fun (like jumping across chasms after positioning surfaces), other puzzles were obtuse and although I did finally figure out the patterns, it felt like work rather than fun and I just stopped playing. I didn't get those joyous Aha! moments, it felt more like completing my taxes correctly. I think the developer has a good concept but just needs to make it a bit more fun - provide further training - more simple puzzles before going complex - although from some of the comments in the discussions, the dev seems to think we should just be smarter. Maybe so, but we're paying for this.
