Its just not fun. It feels like it should open up and become more interesting at some point but it just... doesn't. Don't be fooled by the interesting sounding acheivements either because 90% of them is to literally finding a weird shaped thing and bumping into it. Its boring, grindy, and pointless. It's worth noting how many of the positive reviews praise it but have less than an hour played over the past 3 years.
An Arbitrary Game
I want to recommend it, but I just can't because I feel like no matter what bracket I try to set aside as a demographic for this game would get bored of it if they played it for any real length of time. I've seen some reviews saying it's fun in short bursts, which honestly is just a nice way to say it's boring. Even people that said it's their preferred type of game said it wasn't fun and they couldn't really express how they felt about it. That basically summarizes the game though. It's so pretentious that it just makes me upset. As if being vague, ironic and arbitrary gives you more meaning and makes you sooo deep. Whoever made this game needs to get over themselves, because it's insulting.
Pros:
+Pretty colors
Cons:
-Very strange glitches -Was easy to learn, but lacks any kind of instruction making some things harder to find -like playing an abstract art live wallpaper -not fun, at all -pretentious feeling
It look interesting and it is for a moment until you realize that this is more like experiment and maybe programing exercise than full fledged and well thought game. And this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful artificial voice synthesizer :)
This "game" gives me autism. Also features nearly impossible achievements. You can create whatever piece of interactive experience to express the pointlessness of existence, but for buggy, ill-considered and insurmountable achievements one should simply rot in hell.
obra maestra incomprendida
This shows what happens when you try to erase any form of clonflict in a video game. Well... It does not make it any better, but we can credit for this achievment. If you want to understand what random means, you still have to try this. You day to day life will become filled with meaning in comparison..
i over-estimated this game
This is a low poly 3D casual "puzzle/time filler" game where you control a little cube and roll around a landscape and colour it in, with flavour dialogue from various other low poly entities in the world. It's intended to be whimsical but it just comes across as somehow lame and pretentious at the same time, as if it's not sitting on a platform of pure indie Starbucks employee art-school dropout programming class failure. Artistic merits (none) aside, the technical implementation here is poor. 4K works and in full screen, which is nice, but the developer chose to map gaming peripherals (HOTAS, Pedals, Racing Wheels etc) as if they are console peasant childrens toy gamepads. This makes the player move constantly in one direction and makes the game completely unplayable. The developer didn't include sufficient control customisability to disable this, which they might have done if they tested the game properly on PC.
