In this classic point-and-click adventure anthology you follow the path of Dale and Laura and other famous Rusty lake characters such as Mr. Crow and Mr. Owl. The series will be updated, preserved and bundled to survive the end of the Flash Games era.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 5.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I didn't really have the Rusty Lake series on my radar until Servant of the Lake came out, and I found out the studio is Dutch. Time to support my fellow countrymen. Cube Escape: Seasons - 55mins (⭐⭐⭐💫) The music and the vibe is really good. I know this game is part of a massive series, so I won't fault it for vague storytelling (yet). It's hard to fathom what's happening though, and obviously the mystery doesn't get solved in this game. I can tell it might be good though, or it might just be vague the whole time which would not be great. Some of the puzzles are a bit hard to grasp. You just have to keep clicking and sometimes the game continues because you did two things right (although it's sometimes unclear to me why it's the right solution). Cube Escape: The Lake - 10mins (⭐⭐⭐) This is the second in the Cube Escape bundle. It's very short. There's not much to say about this one apart from the fact I was a little bit shocked that a code from Cube Escape: Seasons has to be used in this game. It seems like you have to maintain your memory throughout multiple games. Luckily there are guides. I think there are also additional achievements for replaying through Seasons again in conjunction what you find in The Lake. I'm not going to do that (at least yet), but it is fun that the games are truly so intertwined if you'd like to dive further into the story. Cube Escape: Arles - 23mins (⭐⭐⭐) In terms of storytelling this one is a little bit less interesting than The Lake even which I rated below Seasons in terms of the storytelling. I don't know why we're focusing on van Gogh, but that might be apparent later on. In terms of puzzles I liked this game more than its predecessors. There are some obtuse ones again, but most of them can be solved without a guide (I just sometimes get lazy after clicking around for a few minutes and resort to a guide a bit too quickly). All-in-all not sure about this entry in terms of how it contributes to the story, but the mechanics are becoming recognizable. The 'shocking' moments are still there. I had an OK time with it. Cube Escape: Harvey's Box - 30mins (⭐⭐💫) I'm rating this one the lowest of all the Cube Escape games I've played so far. I didn't really enjoy it. The puzzles were incredibly hard. The dominoes were no fun (too much trial and error for my brain) and music puzzles also aren't my thing. I didn't quite organically figure everything out as I had before. It's fun to follow Harvey on his journey to Rusty Lake though. Cube Escape: Case 23 - 1h29mins (⭐⭐⭐💫) This is the second time since Seasons that we're diving into a bit more of a story. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The puzzles are getting harder and harder, but all-in-all it's doable. It's creepy too which is what I like. Cube Escape: The Mill - 34mins (⭐⭐⭐) This one was good. It was hard to understand what the game wanted me to do occassionally (luckily there are good guides out there), but I enjoyed it. I feel like the story is coming together a bit more. This time around I think we're following the old man (the Crow) who gets a call from Dale in Case 23. So we see a different perspective. Cube Escape: Birthday - 40mins (⭐⭐⭐) I liked some of the puzzles in this game, but all-in-all it was slightly underwhelming after playing Rusty Lake Hotel. Some of the progression points are a little bit vague and I once again needed a guide a bit too much. I see what the blue cube is used for now. All-in-all the world-building in all these games is quite interesting. Cube Escape: Theatre - 34mins (⭐⭐⭐💫) For some reason I really liked this one. The flow felt really good and I managed to solve the puzzles by myself. I understood exactly what was next, and what was to be skipped for now. We're still in the elevator. We're still Dale. I take it this is probably part of the investigation into the murder from earlier games. I liked it! Cube Escape: The Cave - 1h27mins (⭐⭐💫) This is probably the hardest one in the Cube Escape collection and the Rusty Lake series (Hotel & Roots) I've played, especially in the latter half of the game it's a lot of guesswork from my part and googling solution. I did find out towards the end of this game that there are hints. That's a feature I'll definitely be making more use of. In terms of lore this game series is really fun. In terms of puzzles this one was a bit obnoxious and most of all it's also repetitive. 6/10

tjs plein de surprises avec Rusty Lake ! J'adore
Cube Escape Collection is such a perfect entry point into the strange, dreamlike world of Rusty Lake. Playing through these episodes back to back really shows how much care went into building this universe piece by piece — small details from one game echo into the next, and the whole thing starts to feel less like a series of puzzle games and more like fragments of one larger, unsettling story. The puzzles themselves are clever without ever feeling unfair, and the atmosphere is what really sets this apart — that eerie, melancholic tone Rusty Lake does so well, where something feels off long before you understand why. Each episode has its own personality, but they all share that same unmistakable dread and curiosity that pulls you forward. As a fan of the series, getting to experience these in one collection was a treat. It's the kind of game world that rewards attention and patience, and I loved uncovering the connections as I went. A must-play for anyone who likes their puzzle games with a healthy dose of mystery and unease.
Definitely worth picking up if you love puzzles. The feeling of getting a puzzle right and figuring it out without looking it up is euphoric at times. Each game in the collection has lore behind it with reoccurring characters and themes. Its very exciting to pick up connecting threads and even at times know the answer to a puzzle because you were paying attention to previous games. There are times however I felt the answer to a puzzle was very convoluted or wasn't it telegraphed well what your next move should be. Sometimes I DID find the answer or I solved the puzzle only to have not clicked one extra thing to reveal my reward or go to the next screen, which led me to move on and look elsewhere for the answer. I AM an idiot though so It could just be that. There is a pretty good clue system integrated into the game that doesn't typically give outright answers but nudges you in the right direction if you're stuck, was helpful at times when i was at my wits end and saved me from randomly clicking forever. I paid 17 bucks for the entire Rusty Lake collection, have already put 10 hours into the Cube Collection and am only on Cube Escape 6 and have so many more to go. Steal of a deal and cant wait to see where the story goes.
