been following this game since early alpha, and its a pretty good time. its a nice, simple map game to play with a friend, definitely what you see it what you get. the main drawbacks are the graphics, and some bugs, but they are being worked on constantly. One of the best things about this game, in my opinion, is the dev, who is very active in the discord, and generally a cool guy. overall, HP Lovecraft's cat/10
Im a big cthulhu fan, and like to support indie devs but I honestly can't recommend this game at the pricepoint I purchased at (£10). Nowhere near polished enough, feels like a game jam game.
The friendly Mi-Go enjoyed this game a lot.
Very nice game. I like the different research trees (research + daemonic tree). The tutorial is quite funny. Here is some gameplay for those curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVeDHTJM-w4
This is a lite turn-based strategy game for world domination in a Lovecraftian setting. It is like starting with Risk, adding some depth and dark humor, and subtracting the random element.
Fun strategy game, though matches can take a while.
I've played with 3 out of 4 available Old Ones and can say that I do recommend the game. The gameplay is mostly Risk with some minor 4X elements, like building buildings, units, researching new technologies and upgrading the Old One powers. It is purely combat oriented which limits the potential a bit, however the general feel is nice and the Lovecraftian themes are well used. The developers are still working on post-release development so some weak points may yet be addressed, but as it is, the product is already worth the price tag and the deal may only get sweeter in the future.
Fun little game for a night with the bois
Yog-Sothot Neblod Zin !
I love consuming the entire population and hearing the screams.
