CSI VR: Crime Scene Investigation

[h1]Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers[/h1] I got tempted by the Steam Lunar New Year Sale 2019 and only paid $3.74 USD so I'm not expecting a whole lot for my money. Even still, I'm surprised this game got any positive reviews. This game is crap. It is a nice idea, but it executed poorly. I should have looked at the store page video closer instead of reading the review. Yes, the game looks as bad as the store page video shows. Being inside that vehicle driving to the scene of the crime with the Inspector Gadget doppelganger was one of the ugliest visuals I had ever seen in VR. Did you notice the teleportation? Yeah, it's even worse to navigate the game than it looks on the video (although it does look bad). What else is wrong with this game? Almost everything. The clunky navigation is matched with the clunky controls. You are clipping through everything and the collision physics are terrible. Several needed objects flew around the area and you have to find them. What stopped me from continuing to play this game (and probably ask for a refund) is a bug I encountered. I was dusting for footprints after using the UV light (following the instructions) and for whatever reason the dusting led to the footprint completely vanishing ... and my dusting brush disappeared as well. I tried putting the ruler where the footprint had been but it was no use. I couldn't proceed. I didn't want to restart the game as I wasn't having any fun in any event. [b]Rate 3.5/10. There's some nice ideas here. The game just feels like an alpha build. I hope it improves as it could potentially be a good game, but I won't be supporting it in EA.[/b]

A VR CSI investigate a crime game that introduces some new ideas for VR gameplay while not having enough content atm. Needs more of tutorial in the lab stage as I wondered about like Horatio Caine at a strip club wondering what to do. Anyway priced fair and I like solving a crime so it's a recommend from me. The game has a great concept, however the execution in INSANELY lack-lusting and just poorly done. The optimisation is garbage, the controls are super clunky and trash. They're explained in a super half-done way. Things are not explained as they should, it feels like a big empty world with some free assets thrown into it. They explain to you how to grab items and how to move. But not how to interact with said items or even how to control the menu's in the lab. There's bugs that make things disappear and makes you have to restart FROM THE BEGINNING. Just hoping that it doesn't happen again and prevents you from progressing. Things fly over the place, you can clip through walls unintentionally. Collision does not exist in this. I feel like these are basic things they could have fixed easily in the TWO YEARS this has been around. Big hard pass. Good concept, not well made at all.

Jeu trop court où il n'y a pas assez d'interaction avec les objets dans les pièces. Les objectifs sont clairs mais trop faciles à faire. De plus, à la fin, au laboratoire, il n'y a pas de possibilité de revenir sur un mauvais choix qu'on a pu faire (dans notre cas, en pesant sur un mauvais bouton...). S'il ne s'améliore pas d'ici peu, n'achetez pas ce jeu, il ne vaut pas le coût demandé. Aussi, la scene très longue en voiture, au début du jeu, donne mal au coeur. Le plus, la maison où se déroule l'enquête est très jolie.

Hola! He comprado CSI VR: Crime Scene Investigation , pero no encuentro la forma de ver dicho juego. Para probar que tal se ven los juegos en Realidad Virtual. Agradecería muchísimo si me dierais algún consejo o una ayudita para empezar el juego. Muchas gracias de antemano i un gran saludo..

this game is kinda trash. the whole thing has a almost cheap porno type quality.

Couldn't get the game to run (check out how many hours I've allocated to doing so! - can't refund now...) Still not loading on the Valve Index (Steam Requirements states support for Valve Index, HTC and Oculus - though Dev only mentions HTC and Oculus tests and results from paying public). Left it running for ages / tested after Steam VR updates too - came back to same black loading screen with small grey box bottom right with bunch of lines - guess it was a message box that crapped out. I'll come back with a more positive review once the Index is patched.

I would love to try this game but i got stuck in the loading screen forever... (Ryzen 7 3700x, 32GB Ram, RTX 2080, Valve Index) As i only payed a few bucks i hesitated to refund as i hope it will run some day.

I open the game and I see nothing. Why???
