I remember trying to record a full walktrhough of the android version on my old tablet. Finished the game, lost all the footage, but I'll always remember the nights I spent talking to myself in my bed, laughing my arse off silly dialogues and sweeping one floor after another. The remake is nice, it adds more than I'd thought, good job for a single developper !
I'm gonna be real with you chief I only picked this up because I wanted to know what actually happened because Hiro was obviously lying and rewriting history, I went in expecting the incredible world, deeply layered characters, good comedy, a well written found family, emotions, twists, turns, and fun albeit somewhat repetitive game play. What I got was characters about as interesting as mildly wet cardboard that were more two dimensional than their actual 2D sprites and a game that is so UNBELIEVABLY grindy and repetitive with the exact same dungeon over and over and still an absolute slog even if you DO said soul crushing amount of grinding. It was about as pleasant as chewing on glass. I'm gonna be honest, this might be the first video game that I've played myself and ended up hating. I tried my best to give this game the benefit of the doubt, I did the side quests, I tried to progress quickly and go through the story, I overlooked the first several blunders but there just really isn't anything salvageable here. This game is frustrating and is the exact opposite of what it's sequel is which makes the fact that the two games are related and made by the same people astounding. Buy it I guess if you're curious since it's only ten bucks but if you only got ten bucks to spend on games don't pick this one for the love of god. This game is a hot mess I'm upset that I spent real money on it and I yield my time.
love it ! basic but great can be grindy at times, and a bit a samey the way through, its a indie and its great for what it is, the customisation of the characters is good to, 7/10
