Cryptid Keeper

Love zoo-sims with a little added twist ? craving the dark under growth of myth and folk lore ? Then i strongly recommend Cryptid keeper ! Loved it from start to finish and i recommend it to anyone who likes creature collectors or zoo sims. It is a short game in terms of main story, i think i got through it in about 2 hours but there's so much to do after you've done. I've barely put a dent into getting all the cryptids, plus there's rare shiny cryptids you have to hunt for as well, and my zoo itself still needs some tender love and care. And i've not even touched the breeding system yet. Its also great that you can use a controller, I've got nothing against mouse and keyboard its just i like to sit back like a slug and fully relax. Plus I have the posture of a 90 degree bent bendy straw and my spine is screaming after an hour. All in all I would say give this great little game a chance, its the first game for a small studio and we can see a lot of care and love has gone into it. i received a free copy of this to review for my Youtube channel WhatWePlAyen

I really liked the game, the original idea and the topic of cryptozoology are interesting. [strike]But a negative review for a critical bug. After completing the task where you need to bring aliens to fix the UFO, you cannot cross rivers by boat and crafting resources no longer appear on the map, which ruins the further passage of the game. There is no desire to start over for the third time. I know that the developer is communicating with the players, I hope this point will be fixed. [/strike] edited: The developer fixed the problem with the boat very quickly. Thanks to that, I was able to continue playing this beautiful game. I am glad that the developer is communicating with the players.

I believe the cost of the game is at the right price point. A cozy collector game where you don't have to worry about dying. I enjoy the different options on how to make game currency. The music is enjoyable. The devloper is super helpful when it came to fixing bugs. I am excited to start making hybrids!

HI! This has been on my wishlist for some time now! I'm enjoying it so much! It's different than any game I've played, but still has the things I look for in a management sim type of game! I think if you love Cryptids and are a fan of tycoon/management style games this would be so great for you to try. I'm only 30 minutes in, but I know the game will get a few fixes & updates as time goes on! Excited to get further in!

I've barely scratched the surface of what this game has but I'm already in love. The art work is fantastic, giving off an old timey feel while having the creep factor that works well with the premise of the game. The zoo is large and has plenty to upgrade as you gain more money and capture more creatures. The map system for hunting the cryptids feels unique and is quite expansive as well. I'm excited to see what else the game has to offer with the breeding system and cryptids/aliens. Also, if you're like me and prefer using a controller, having controller support is a huge plus. If you enjoy cozy games or management games, this one is well worth your time and money!

This indie game has the ingredients and mechanics to be spectacular. I have played for just over three hours now and keep discovering neat little touches and mechanics. I would recommend for anyway looking for a relaxing slower paced quirky game! No spoilers here but the ideas put into this world are great! Worth a buy check it out.

An entertaining little monster-catching game with simple gameplay and a cosy-spooky vibe. Nothing very challenging. I hope I can pretty up my zoo in further updates.

This game is a super unique concept and more than I expected for the price. I will say, there are some bugs still, but they don't impact gameplay all that much. Overall though, great for a new release and I look forward to future updates!
