Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 15.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
WARNING: This game is not recommended for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Cruelty Squad is a tactical first person shooter set in the hardcore gig economy of corporate liquidations. You're an emotionally dead combat-substance fueled grunt of Cruelty Squad, a depraved subsidiary company tasked with performing wetworks for its host conglomerate. Will you make the Corporate Arch Demoness proud or succumb to bitter tears of failure?
Highly kinematic tactical gameplay using varied weapons such as the flechette shotgun, silenced 10mm pistol, radiation emitter, dart gun, corrosive gas launcher and more.
No handholding!
All of the missions have multiple viable approaches and routes. Plan out your equipment loadout to gain a tactical advantage. Choose between non-lethal and lethal options. Throw toilet bowls at enemies.
Fight and sneak through offices, suburbs, police stations and secret compounds. Find and unlock hidden equipment and levels.
Open objective based gameplay, in each mission your goal is to kill or destroy your targets before heading for the exit.
Revisit earlier missions and try to beat your best time. Can you S-rank all of the missions?
Enemies including private security, cops, psycho freaks, flower hybrids, swamp cultists and mutant dogs.

its like ive been standing my whole life and ive just sat down this is just like life this the gorbinos quest of life
A life-changing experience, but sadly not Gorbino's Quest. Cruelty Squad is the kind of game that makes you question why other games even bother having graphics, gameplay, or a coherent understanding of human suffering. The art style is hideous. The music is unbearable. The world feels like it was designed by a committee of lobotomized investment bankers. And somehow, it all works perfectly. The gameplay is genuinely incredible. There is an absurd amount of freedom in how you approach missions, and every weapon, implant, and piece of equipment opens up another ridiculous way to solve a problem. You can crawl through vents, shoot through walls, snipe people from impossible distances, or simply commit economic terrorism at point-blank range. But beneath all the violence and insanity, there's something genuinely fascinating: the game lets you peek behind the corporate veil and see the machinery holding its world together. Everything is commodified, monetized, and disposable, and the deeper you look, the more disturbing, and strangely hilarious, it becomes. The game rewards experimentation more than anything else. Almost every bizarre idea you have is worth trying, and sometimes the game rewards you simply for being completely insane. The soundtrack is also something I can only describe as medically concerning. 10/10. Would recommend to absolutely everyone, including people who I personally dislike.
it feels like a neon paint grenade between the eyes
add HDR and Linux support
This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks ass and i have no idea why anyone would play this for more than 30 seconds. The dev has stated they actively hate the player and wants to make it as intentionally bad as possible! HOW IS THIS GAME 95% POSITIVE WITH THAT ATTIDUTE!!!!!????!!! ALSO I GAINED CEO MINDSET SO I COULD PERPETUATE CORPORATE SLAVERY!!!! 0/10 GO PLAY GORBINOS QUEST OR SOMETHING!
this is like that creepypasta trope where someone will get a game that's cursed and drive them insane, all I can think about is the CEO mindset.
my marbles are in an unknown location
