CRUEL: Constant Reloading Usually Ensues Losing

I like the game but... I think it has a lot of issues. First of all, the lack of a tutorial made it extremely confusing for me the first time I played. I also take issue with the fact that multibinding is not possible. I'd like to bind more than 1 key for melee or for weapon throwing but the game doesn't allow this. Additionally, I understand the approach of no handholding, but there's a difference between no handholding and throwing the player into a pit of venomous snakes. I'm really struggling with getting past floor 3. That's because no mechanics were explained to me at all. A game as challenging as Cruelty Squad (that famously touts "no hand holding" either) even has a tutorial. I'd like for you to be able to interact to open doors rather than having to kick them. E for throwing a weapon makes no sense. The default bindings are all over the place. Binding slide to C forces the player to either move their finger off the D key to slide, or move their finger off jump to slide. Either way is indesirable. There's a lot of potential here and I'd much prefer it to be in early access so we know that there's more features coming and updates to be made. Some things I do like is that there's multiple moves bound to one button that are contextual, for example how parrying enemy melee attacks and bullets (if you have the upgrade) is bound to the melee button. I love how meaty headshots feel and I see a lot of potential for combos in this game. There NEEDS to be an FOV slider. PLEASE. And/or a crosshair customiser. Why can't I change my resolution in the video settings? They're awfully lacking and need to be updated. There's a lot of things about this game that just feel... unfinished, despite the game not saying it's early access. I'm surprised these issues got past quality assurance. Good game so far but it needs a lot of work.
