A retro-inspired 2D Action RPG set in the distant future. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story.

Reviews
I am engrossed in this game.
The mechanic where i bounce things off walls is very fun and interesting
Hermoso juego, tiene mucho estilo, los dialogos tienen personalidad, no son genericos como un jrpg cualquiera, y la jugabilidad es super fluida Nada negativo que decir sinceramente, recomendado!

I tried so very hard to like this game but the story was convoluted and dull, and the combat was SO BAD. I don't understand how this game is rated so positively. The block does nothing and the dodge doesn't dodge incoming damage. Taking on more than a few enemies at once becomes a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and you're just constantly taking damage from things you can't keep track of. I came back to this game four times and after dying yet again to purple hedgehags, i was just like yeah no i'm out. This game clearly isn't for me. I don't know who it IS for, but i'm clearly just missing something. I'll stick with castlevania and dark souls, and games where the combat isn't ass.
Fun little rpg only thing I really didn't like was all the platforming it feels really slidy and sometimes in 2d it's hard to gauge distances with weird perspective stuff going on.
Well, I WAS initially loving the game but a combination of exp degrading as you level up, making it impossible to level in a certain area once you're too high of a level, and the insanely difficult boss fights that are way above and beyond that difficulty of anything you've had to deal with up until now have made me slowly lose interest as I progress further into the game. Without even the option to go level up some more and come back and try again, you basically just end up hitting a brick wall eventually.
I admit some of the puzzles nearly broke me, I had to open a walkthrough for the last floors of Vermillion Tower, but it was worth it to persevere. The game is a masterpiece, one of a kind. Now I need to gather my strength and finish the DLC too.
