A retro-inspired 2D Action RPG set in the distant future. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story.

Reviews
Surprisingly deep gameplay and very inventive. Kind of like a difficult SNES action RPG game. Probably inpired by but even better than Secret of Evermore or Lufia 2. Hidden gem.

Such an adventure! Chapeau to developer!
great retro rpg. good story lots of fun if your a retro gamer or like to have fun.
This game is worth every penny. Combat, story, progression, puzzles, it has it all and it is all splendid.
Just can't get into. if there is story it's pacing very poorly. puzzles punish you for doing the exact thing you're supposed to do a few minutes later, but never explain it. combat feels kinda clunky, in a vacuum it's kinda awesome but then a large chunk of enemies require you hit them from a specific side, pretty standard stuff, but that angle is always instantly faced away from you to encourage you the hyper sensitive (for controller) throwing mechanic which shows a nice little aimer to help you out by never following the trail. wishlisted a long while back cause i go the impression of secret of mana and if thats what it's supposed to be, it does a great diservice.
Cross Code was the special game that introduced me to Radical Fish, it was the game I sunk hours into with its fantasy 16-bit world, rich lore, amazing puzzles and fast paced combat.
This game is so good. The combat is fun, the characters are engaging, and the puzzles can be really tough (so make sure you like puzzles before you play). The story is just so good, and there's so much stuff hiding away for you to find in every corner of the map. There's so much content to explore, and all of it is amazing!! 10/10
