Followed this game for years and my time isn't true given I have played it a lot off of Steam too. This is one of my favorite FemC games. Now that MKRU has put time into the vampire route, you can really sit back and roleplay and have multiple options for having fun. The art is gorgeous and it's free, but you get bonuses for subscribing on Patreon like Cheat codes... Overall, a must play to try...

So, for prefacing sake: I was reccomended this game by my wife. Now as someone whom generally does not enjoy adult games, it is unheard of for me to get hooked on a game like this. But let me tell you: Crimson Veil is a genuinely amazing hidden gem full of passion (literally and non-literally), surprisingly great writing, and one of the best works of its genre. Every minute I was absolutely hooked, and enjoyed this project SO MUCH that I cannot even really think of what to write. It would just be a giant list of what I enjoyed. Although it starts a bit slow, the entire game is full of charm. From hand-drawn unique art for practically every unique npc in the game, to tons of random (totally skippable or missable) side content with unique characters and situations that really make this erotic monster-swarmed world feel real. I mean, the dev went thru the effort of writing and creating unique death animations (with hand-drawn artwork) for practically every enemy in the game. That random ghoul that there is no way you will ever die to? Yep. It has a uniquely written and artistically depicted scenario upon losing to it. Seriously mad behaviour. Some of these even go to extended lengths of being full cutscenes or having playable scenarios afterwards. (Lose the casino game. That's my favourite.) Not to mention the fact the world is full of random side dungeon, secrets, and enough random loot to make it feel like a dungeon crawler at points. Did I mention the writing? I've never cried and gotten so enthralled into a random ass side-quest npc's story before. The erotic scenarios are obviously amazing, but the plot is so unironically good that I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good dark fantasy vampire rpg or a good rpgmaker rpg in general. Let me put a bullet list for those of you who don't like to read; -Surprisingly enthralling and well written plot -Rich characters full of personality -Lesbians (And a little non) -Custom hand-drawn art for practically every important npc. -Surprisingly well written dialogue *ft the ocasional hillarious prono line. -Custom written scenarios, scenes, and art for losing to practically every enemy in the game. -A deep number of random side quests and situations you can encounter. -Funny npc dialogue (LETS GOOOO) -Hot vampires -A variety of equally fun and well made dungeons -Surprising amount of story driven choices for this sort of game, even for random sidequests. -Women who probably would freeze to death wearing that out in public if they weren't vampires -Bianca -DID I MENTION YOU CAN MAKE LOVE WITH SPICY VAMPIRE? At the end of the day, I am firmly impressed. Like again, I do not typically like adult games. But this isn't no "hastely thrown together goon bait." Crimson Veil is a hidden gem and one of the better rpgs I have ever played. Gonna keep an eye on this one and the dev's future projects. Did I mention this is made by like 1 or two people?. (p.s: play this with a controller. Your life will be easier. And not in the way you think, dirty steam users. I am a woman of the cloth).

One of the few Vampire games that actually has vampires bite people for blood.

Pros. generally very interesting, some fights are even pleasantly challenging. & you're rewarded for exploring rather well. cons. the Nosferatu enemies should have their screeching limited, they are not pleasant to fight against when they keep eating your turns 3-5 turns while you're bleeding & infected. the Nosferatu are otherwise not difficult to fight. such a small irritation I have for an otherwise very enjoyable game

Found this game originally from a playthrough on a big guy site which removed all audio, replaced instead by cowboy bebop osts and nu metal. Version I watched was also a very early build with a lot of rough edges and blank screens of just text. That being said, it was enough to make me keep coming back to the video, year after year after year. This game is nothing innovative or new, but it does what rpgmaker games do well and tell a focused narrative. If you like vampires, mind break, zombies, lesbians, etc, give this game a whirl! And support the guy on patreon as this is currently a free to play early access. Coffin of leyley fans, nope nope nurse enjoyers, Im sure youll both find something here to appreciate. For dev, Might consider adding a quit button to the home menu. No way to exit game on controller currently

Crimson Veil is a fun RPG with a great story so far and continuing to develop. You play a Vampire Huntress, tasked with taking down and investigating Vampires and other monsters. Should you fail, you get a nice little game over scene, sometimes even a playable section. This first and, likely for most, main story also has mystery and intrigue woven into it. Of course, come Chapter 2 onwards, you could also go to an old mansion, fight Vampires and then become the fourth wife of the one in charge (and sister-wife of the other three). This sets off an alternate story where you play AS a Vampire. So basically, one game with two long stories. Lots of side content as well. With so much content and so many possible ways to fail, I DO recommend saving regularly. And maybe even giving up some fights, just for the game overs.
