Holy terrible dog ♥♥♥♥. I have been watching for this to come out for like a year. Stoked it wasn't gonna be early access(please stop EA, just stop). Playtest status at best. Where to start? What does rage do? Increases damage? By how much? Stacks? How many? How long does a stack last? How much "mana" does ANY ability use? Guess. Build variety? Nope. Fire, Frost(which I guess doesn't actually do damage), bleed or rage. Not sure what bleed actually does. Why is my screen bordered in red? Rage? on fire? any status ailment or buff? Who knows!?!?!?! Upgrading equipment: Why would I upgrade an item when it doesn't get stronger? Just increases rarity. Does that do anything? How much will it increase by? Stats will show an increase but the attached modifier/boon? You got it, don't know. And then there's the Jank. And Holy Jank is the Jank beefy. I'm a good sport. I know it is just a $20 game, but twenty bucks is still twenty bucks. I WILL get my money"s worth. But I forced myself through the last few levels(hours btw) to get to the beyond janktified final boss. Which was just one of the other bosses with all the other bosses abilities. Yeah, stupid AF! The home "base" - Ugh, Dialog - weak. Story - lame. Seriously guys, wtf!?! It took more than two hours to discover how polished this turd is and I can only think of one term: Rip Off! I played for 9 hours with a friend. Started decent enough but then the reality sets in(see above). Some Boss fights were fun. Parry though? idk, did I parry it? No real weight to combat. Combined we found two weapons that do "crushing" damage. Everything else is slashing damage. I could keep going but you get the picture here. Every aspect - Swing and a miss. - Stay Away!!

Just a arcade style souls-like with rogue-like mechanic as it's core. You can do a run with 1 extra friend in co-op. for $19.99 It's okay.
This game is a lot of fun, especially with a friend. Camera movement is a bit weird, I hope they do something about that. But this game has a lot of potential. Would be great if they added that you could play with more friends.
I bought this game for me and my friend, played almost 5 hours of the game. we both had a blast playing Crimson Moon in that time but we both came with the same conclusion. -For a $20 game its worth it honestly -should had be early access game 10000% to iron out the bugs, crashes, etc. - there are Definity things that should've been in the game already like shared exp and gold (not 100% sure if this a bug or something) while playing we completed a run and was gonna continue but i realized i got only 97 exp and my friend ranked up a whole lvl i swapped to a character i had made 1 hour before we played and this didn't fix the problem but made it manageable but the gold we just took turns picking up gold or split the drops if two had dropped. -The loot bag system needs tweaking if dying and losing progress but keeping the loot after is the main cycle of the game , i shouldn't be punished for picking up a item i thought was gonna be useful only for another item to drop that's better and not be able to store it cause my bag is full already and now have to decide to lose out on the better items or swap it for one of my items and this can either make or break the run. we should be able drop or swap out the loot bag items - the lock on camera ... omg the lock on camera its the hardest enemy in the game , it shouldn't like I'm rolling around with my character as if we were conjoined twins. you would think the delay parry frames and doge frames would be the biggest problem, those are small compared to the lock on camera, the camera tweaks out while rolling and i played other soul like and roguelike it should be normal, it happens right sometimes right but it shouldn't feel like I'm giving the boss or anyone really a surprise anal exam while Inna looped loop part roller coaster ride. Honestly the hate this game is getting is understandable to a certain degree but some are just uncalled for and may i say the game just came out barley been out for 3 days now they are gonna tweak and fix things in the game but its gonna take time and practice. As long as the devs keeps some type of transparency and conversation with there players and community this can Definity be something good game. Lasty, the game is only $20 bucks or $30 for the deluxe , the game looks amazing i may even say angelic in the sense of how shiny the main hub is but the gore and executions are smooth and satisfying especially when u struggle or have a hard time fighting and if u play 3-4 hours of the game and had fun ,enjoyed something from the game You are not wasting money. its just $20 bucks I know other spend $20 bucks on dumber ♥♥♥♥

This is a good game, speaking on value proposition, gameplay mechanics and difficulty. If you have a weak stomach for gore, this might not be the game for you. Game is decently optimized as well, no hitching or lagging.
