Criminal Pursuit Force

I like trash games very much and i had a blast with this game. So, i recommend this game to all trash fans. But for the others, i say just no, this is a really bad game. In Criminal Pursuit Force you are a female cop (only visible in the missions screens as a picture) hunting bad guys. The goal of every level is to catch an enemy car with your police vehicle. I like that kind of game and that is why i bought it. But there are so many things that are just awful. The graphics are outdated and there is just one small map (for all missions). There are not many sound effects in the game, just a police-radio, which tells you the same thing over and over, and a police siren. No engine sounds or other effects (maybe that is just a bug). The music is ok, but there are not many tracks. The worst part of the game are the ai-drivers, the normal ones and the enemy. I never saw such stupid drivers in a game, they even can not stay on the road. You have to see that for yourself to believe it (watch may video under the text). And on top of that all, the game is not finishable because in one mission, the enemy car is not findable. So my final verdict for the game, buy it if you want to laugh about the most stupid drivers in gaming history, otherwise avoid it. I originally went into this game thinking "Oh, it's just a bit of fun. Nothing too serious, I'll review it as such." However, I reported the games main flaw being that criminals always end up getting stuck in the same place under the bridge. I did this so the developer had time to fix the bug before I reviewed it. I've since went back and played only to find the bug still hasn't been fixed after he assured me it had been. This game doesn't have a lot going for it, it's a basic loop of crashing your car into a criminals car in order to apprehend them. Then the level restarts and you do it over and over again. Don't worry though, they'll always be under the bridge at the local criminal stop point. There's nothing else to it, that's it. The handling is horrible, the graphics are dated, the gameplay is boring and I'm now pretty sure it's just another generic asset flip. Save your money, buy something else.

[h1]Longer Review:[/h1] This may be a "Game of the Year 2018 Best Worst Game" contender, solely because it is so absolutely surreal and hilarious. The game basically feels like an alpha of an alpha, and yet we couldn't turn away from it. Great for the under two dollars we spent on it. At no point were we clear of the objectives or how we accomplished anything, outside of "follow the red dot on the mini map." Car handling is poor at best. Graphics feel like an N64 game ported to PC. The whole point of the game is to apprehend bad guys in cars trying to get away from you, but the AI nearly always drives itself into a wall or lamp post and stays there, so all you really have to do is cruise on over and slam into them as hard as you can and the mission ends. It's both baffling and amazing. In theory, the game takes place in the San Francisco Bay Area, though the map itself is obviously not any real world city. There are modern skyscrapers along the cityscape BUT ALSO what look like moon bases? And possibly an Imperial compound from Star Wars?! There are also a very sparse spattering of other cars and pedestrians throughout the city, and we do mean sparse. For the most part, it'll be you and the city. Honestly, with some more localized dialogue and fixed car AI, the game could have some lasting charm for what it is. As it stands, the game is just a little too broken, even if downright hysterical as a result.

The first 15 minutes of the game is fun but over time the gameplay can be repetative. The game has potential to be better and more enjoyable. The game can be improved by getting a police radio script that either cuts off after its done the first time or can be kept up to date on how close you get to the criminal instead of looping. The voice acting can be written with more fluidity so dialogue is more realistic; researching how police communicate "simple 10 codes" can help.

No, no, no no no dont push the Buy button! Oh god how does this get through greenlight. 1h and i already beat the game. And for shure you dont want to play further. By feel there are just 3 Mission wich repeat over and over but with other briefings. No AI, or why is everything crashing into each other? Mission select screen is cut of so you see mission 4 button just half. Please Steam, help them young and unexperienced gamers and delete this! (and this had to come:) But, its faaaaar better than Dubstep Absralsa. Oh. Eh, dont, no dont, dont search for that game. (If you have no money and just want to have 1 or 2 games to flush your time on earth down the toilet, yes, buy this and get as good as you can. You can make it!)

A decent yet funny but not very good game. There are some funny moments but then there are some major flaws as well. Firstly the graphics are very outdated, the gameplay seems like a typical cheap mobile game and the game controls are laggy. Overall it's meh...game, if you're bored then this is the game to humor yourself. Anyways I would like to give a thumbs up to devs for pulling such effort by creating this game. For me it's kinda recommended.
