Cricket 19 was better, but Cricket 22 is still okay/good. The rating system is a bit flawed as batsmen and wicketkeepers can get to a higher rating than other roles.

Its a pretty well made game overall, but the experience gets hurt due to several issues. For me the biggest one is they did not play-test the game enough on all difficulties and control inputs. Pro controls for batting seems to be there for namesake. Slightest mistiming (on both arcade/pro control) leads you to give a catch to the keeper. This might be realistic, but there is a difference between a bat and a controller. There's fun to be had but it doesn't live up to its potential. You might be disappointed due to that. If you do buy the game, download community made teams so that you get real players for unlicensed teams.
Indeed a great game with pure realism specially for the licensed teams and players as well as the stadiums. Hoping that you soon get Team India's and IPL's License as well being an Indian Cricket Team Fan. Overall a great game with real life difficulties which makes the player hard to score runs like real life.
