Imagine an enemy that is everywhere and moves like a giant, organic mass across the map. Imagine your base and your people surrounded by a blanket of crushing destruction from all directions. Your only hope, well what hope? Then you take the high ground and pound this enemy into oblivion.

Easily one of the best tower defense games ever made. Simple and effective 10/10
I like the mindless calm.

Played this game some 15years ago on my old macbook when I was a poor student. £5 to replay now I'm a financially...not-good-but-not-terrible-either adult felt nice. A slightly different spin on RTS/Tower Defence style games. You build your 'towers' both to gather energy and give yourself access to more of the map. Then you have your 'attacking' towers to repel the eternally regenerating 'creeper' that flows over the map like a viscous fluid. If you're a fan of TD, you might enjoy this as a slightly different take on the formula. If you're a fan of RTS, you might enjoy this as a more relaxing game with less micromanaging. Fairly simple 100% achievo run that took approximately 19hrs according to Steam, with only a single snagging point: Chopraider. Chopraider sucks - it goes out of its way to break a pretty important rule and as such is the hardest level in the game and the only one I had to retry more than once. My advice for Chopraider is to 1) accept that you're forever going to have an energy deficit and 2) build two blasters, one drone, and 9 SAMs, with the SAMs in clusters of 3. One final bonus is the "Chronom" option on the main menu: the game can randomly generate a completely new level based on the current date (or a date from the past or future). So, overall, I recommend this game.
I played this game around a decade ago. And even when I had no idea what I was doing or what I was supposed to do. It was still pretty fun. Now that I actually know what I'm doing (and I know all the story and lore) It's still very fun. It is a somewhat passive strategy, tower defense game. Though there are certain objectives that require you to move quickly or lose the level. Though none of them are ever blitheringly hard.
All the lore you need to know: In the year 13,271: Water becomes evil.
Great, as the 3rd one
