CreatorCrate has some humorous elements, such as being able to clone the bodies of the scientists you kill and having them get up and walk around like mindless zombies (the sound they make is pretty hilarious and creepy at the same time). Also, the banter between the scientists and the character as they try to persuade you to get into certain boxes placed around the level is amusing. The graphics and sound are passable and get the job done, but sadly, the gameplay is where the game loses most of its points. Although the game is tagged and described as an “Action Roguelike”, the only actual roguelike element seems to be the procedurally generated world, so roguelike lovers should keep this in mind. CreatorCrate is a physics-based platformer more than anything else. If that is your jam, then you could still do a lot better than this game. This game has incredible movement with a super fun momentum based physics system and I absolutely love it. It has been incredibly satisfying to improve at this game and experiment with all the various items and techniques as well as game modes. The base game is not overly difficult so it's fairly easy to get in to and there are quite a few compelling alternate game modes. I give this game a huge recommend and I believe it deserves way more attention than what it has gotten. If you are into movement games, roguelites or platformers of any kind creatorcrate highly worth checking out.
Eat it and yeet it? Stabby stab bot? Tossy chaos? I dont know what you would describe this game. Tons of fun, constantly changing sections when you die so you never quite master each section. Also, you can chuck a vending machine at humans, or robots. You also can be cute and stabby stab. This game is worth every penny. Seriously, still reading? The vending machine yeet didnt convince you? Go buy this game already! Ill give you some of this "yummy candy" I found in a box.......
This is a very fun game. It was made by an Indy Dev who kept their promise's simple and succeeded in keeping those promises. I rate this game 10/10, with an extra 5 points for honesty. I was a Tester, hence how I got the game.
I find myself constantly surprised by the feel of this game. Creator Crate is an interesting and unique roguelite, but the movement and general speed of the game makes it a lot of fun. The "realism" of the curved space station is a detail I always really enjoyed, and the game handles physics extremely well. I'd recommend giving this game a shot!
Tons of fun! Its a creative platforming game with a fairly open world to play in with a fun storyline so far!
Great platformer, fast paced problem solving with some interesting twists. Fun story, great gameplay. I highly recommend it. My first time playing i played for 2 hours before i realized how much time had passed!
This game is quite an amazing little game. I got it with Humble Choice as a drm free game, thus why I only have 69 minutes play time here on Steam. For me it was the gold nugget of the month. Once I got it on Steam it was nice to see that my progress was automatically transfered. There are a lot of platformers out there and this one firmly places itself among the games with 'heart'. It doesn't feel generic and things that could end up being to repetetive doesn't when you find another way to use an item. If you are like me and likes games where the developer noticably cares about the gameplay you should give this game a go.
jogo muito doido, Rapido e frenetico
