DO NOT BUY Message to the developer: Stop attempting to contact me. I have no interest in updating my review unless there have been any improvements. Leave me alone. Updated review: The developer reached out to me to try the game out after the update. The game hasn't changed at all. They added multiplayer and there's STILL nothing to do. The game crashed 3 times in 10 minutes. I fell through the world during every session and there's no way to reload. You have to disconnect and reconnect. "Creating" the world means nothing and when you go to play on the world it doesn't show up as a save option. Previous review: I received this for free directly from the developer and free is the only cost that makes sense at this point. Copy and paste asset flipping is all this game is at this point. Navigating menus is a nightmare and the game is empty of any real sense of a game. Developer said "minecraft is ugly and boring" and then made this ugly boring mess. They promised a "huge update" for February and it still hasn't happened. I know it is a 2 man dev team (possibly only one actual person who knows how to string assets in the unreal engine dev kit) and this can be a lot of work, but they need to step back and figure out what they are trying to make. It's a garbled mess right now and NOT worth $14.99. I wish them luck but I'm not holding my breath.
Update Still ♥♥♥♥ Game
Definitely could use a update... controls are a bit weird and it's a bit leggy at times. Other than that, the game is very cool and fun to play. Undoubtedly has a lot of potential if the developers decide to continue to update this game. Not much to do other build your own islands and lands but I still had a blast and a lot of fun!!
Really awesome product. Great member of the Unreal community.
It's alright. A bit like Far Cry map generator, but without the placable enemies. Could be worse. Might end up ok....... Mate, add something to do other then build. Stranded Deep cross over? Recommended because it was free, and I could never make a game all.
A lovely concept executed very well by a independent developer. I wish people could open there eyes and see the possibilities of what this game can be with a larger player base
A lot of freedom for players to create and share their map, terrain editor + character editor + RPG elements + multiplayer, there are many transportations available to traverse the map as well. Maps from Steam Workshop have more sci-fi feeling and futuristic looking.
Game definitely has potential. As someone who loves to create and build in games, it allows you to be super creative. some controls and overall navigation can be challenging at times, but you can catch on after awhile. Hopefully more people give this game and go, and it continues to improve and be somewhere gamers can use their creativity to make their own lands and share their worlds.
This game has potential to become something big. With some practice can you can make your own world and explore it.
