It’s just a huge shame there are not any online players to play with. There needs to be a forum somewhere to arrange games as there are not enough online players to start a match. As a one player game it is still fun, and the three difficulty levels do offer a challenge, but it’s just not the same as playing against human opponents. There are high score tables and achievements to help keep interest and it is very relaxing to play. There are a huge amount of rule changes you can make to customize your game, which should please everyone, and the scoring can be tweaked too. Even though the GUI looks a little ugly there are plenty of options to choose from and I couldn’t think of anything they have missed. The aesthetics are beautiful for a card game and I actually prefer them to [b]UNO[/b]. The cards are big, bold, brightly colored and easy to read and the different table designs are a nice touch. It doesn’t try to look too jazzy or colorful. It looks like you’re sitting down at a table to play cards and has a more realistic feel rather than an arcade vibe. The music is pleasant enough. It isn’t distracting and just blends into the background. I did have a few issues with resolution even though they have apparently been fixed. My monitor is 3440x1440 and the game is presented properly using the autoconfig mode, but the option buttons don’t highlight unless you drag your cursor to the very left of the tile. It is still workable but proves to be a pain whilst selecting options in the menu and in game. A card is played from the deck and you must follow suit color or suit number. If you cannot play a card then you must take a card from the deck. There are four colors and cards range from two to nine in [b]UNO[/b] style and ace to King in classic style. The idea of the game is to get rid of all your cards. There are five special cards that can be played if in the right color. [h1] PLUS 2 [/h1] If a + 2 card is played, you must play another + 2 card or pick up two cards from the deck. If you do own a +2 card then the next player will have to pick up four cards unless they play a +2. These rules can be changed and not accumulate, if you so wish. [h1] PLUS 1 [/h1] A +1 card gives you the opportunity to play another card in that suit color from your hand. As many of these can be played as you want, as long as you follow the rules of color. It is an opportunity to remove several cards from your hand and even finish the round with a swift bang, bang, bang, in your face! [h1] Reverse [/h1] With this card you can reverse the order, sending play back to the person who just played. Often a reverse is followed by another reverse, sending play back to you. Reverses can be used to stop players on one card from finishing. [h1] Skip [/h1] Skip cards miss the next player unless they have a skip card to play. These can also accumulate which can be changed in the rule section. There is a high score table and achievements to aim for. There are options to play local network games or online via internet, with a mixture of AI and human players. There are fifteen different decks to choose from; fifteen different table designs and twenty different environments. The view of the table can also be changed to suit your preference. I was quite impressed with the graphics in the game. The cards are big and bold and can be easily seen; the environments aren’t amazingly picturesque but they do add a little variety; and there is an assortment of deck and table looks to please anybody. The GUI in the menus could maybe use a bit of sprucing up. It looks a little ugly but is functional. [h1] 🎵Sound🎵[/h1] There are five different tunes playing throughout the game. You can choose to play one on a loop or have all five playing in a shuffle. I would describe them as relaxing but upbeat, with harmonious vocals, some electric guitar and base. It’s the sort of thing you might hear in a supermarket or a sleep mix. I quite enjoyed it, and although there could be more choices, you don’t really notice it being too repetitive. A Great Uno type game that's easy to pick up and play if you're familiar with Uno. Features great 3D visuals, nice relaxing music and smooth gameplay. Compared to Ubisoft's Uno i'm very glad we have this alternative version that doesn't require Uplay. Game also features Steam Achievements +++Highly Recommended+++

I am a huge fan of crazy eights.. I grew up with it, and as an adult, I play it whenever I get the chance.. so I was so excited to see this game in the works.. Ive been literally checking the status of this game once a week (or more) for the past 2 months in eager anticipation.. I finally saw it was released... but now.. I wish the team would have waited longer.. I'm not sure how this got out the door.. just in the first 5 minutes I encountered a ton of bugs and issue.. but let me first talk about the good parts :) 1. ) The on screen 3D graphics are very nice.. the table, the cards.. the scene in the background, all top notch. 2. ) Animations are great, the flow of the card play feels very natural and organic. 3. ) The options of card backs, and card "fronts" is done very well and look exactly as you'd expect 4. ) The music.. is.. a good attempt :) I would honestly rather they utilized more meditative, relaxing music that was less pop'y, or at least fit the setting to which you are playing, but all in all, is fine. So Now the Cons... 1. ) First of all.. resolution.. I have a large monitor that uses a 3840x2160 size.. first of all the game didn't suggest using it, so i pushed it up anyways.. once applied I could only see about 30% of the screen and the rest was off the screen AND the cursor didn't line up with the buttons so I had to drift in magic space and wait for the game to highlight what my mouse was over to get things back to normal (no "did these settings apply correctly.. resetting in 30 seconds").. So I went back to what the game recommended. The game play space was locked to the lower left portion of the screen but worked.. So then I decided Ill switch to "windowed mode" hoping it would get things back in line.. which it did.. roughly.. but the game doesn't use a true "windowed" mode.. its a mini full screen that you have to use the in-game "move" function to move the window.. O.o ... serious? 2. ) Card type... So for some reason.. the card type defaults to an UNO style card face.. Maybe I've been out of the crazy eights community too long to know what the norm is., but in my crazy eights was played with regular cards.. but lets put all that aside., my personal preference is to use regular cards.. so thankfully in the settings you can choose to set this back to normal cards.. HOWEVER.. after a round is completed.. the cards revert BACK to UNO cards.. so in essence.. every time you start a match you have to go back to setting and reset.. super frustrating.. 3. ) Crazy Jacks.. This may be another result of me not keeping up with the crazy eights community.. but last I checked.. the game was called crazy eights.. to my understanding that means when someone plays an eight you get to choose a new suit for the group to play on.. HOWEVER.. in this version of crazy EIGHTS.. apparently the Jack is crazy instead.. maybe I'm just picking the wrong game type.. so this may just be me.. idk. All in all., a nice step forward towards a great crazy eights game., but this feel VERY premature.. idk what testers they have, but there is a TON of basic things that seem to have been missed for the first release.. I truly hope the team will continue to make this experience the best it can be. I will definitely be waiting excitedly to see what it can become.

Top Spiel - nach 15 Stunden Spielzeit hab ich es glaub ich recht ausführlich gespielt. Hätte anfangs nicht gedacht, dass ich es so lange spielen werde. Was soll man groß zum Spiel sagen, es ist wie MauMau (oder vergleichbar mit Uno). Gibt viele Möglichkeiten an den Regeln zu schrauben und das Spiel an seine Vorlieben anzupassen. Gibt einige verschiedene Hintergründe, verschiedene Karten Rückseiten. Spielen gegen die KI ist gut möglich, zwar sind manche Entscheidungen der KI, besonders am einfachsten Schwierigkeitsgrad etwas fragwürdig, aber das ist wohl dem Schwierigkeitsgrad geschuldet. Auf Normal ist es dagegen gut spielbar und wer sich das Leben besonders schwer machen will nimmt halt "Profi". Da is es dann schon eine Herausforderung bzw. teilweise auch Glück ob man gewinnt. Am besten aber spielt man das Spiel gemeinsam mit Freunden. Da gibts besonders schöne Momente, wenn er sich schon fast sicher ist, dass er gewinnen wird, aber du ihm dann kurz vor Schluss noch eine +2 rein drückst. Auf jeden Fall eignet sich das Spiel gut um mal eine Runde nebenbei zu spielen. Technisch kann ich mich bisher nicht beschweren. Bisher kein einziger Crash. Online Spiel war bisher auch immer stabil. Einziger Fehler den ich hatte, war dass der "Mau-Ansagen"-Button nicht immer erschienen ist, aber das scheint mit dem letzten Update auch behoben worden zu sein.
