Reviews
Sim that shows how it can spread and certain practices can lessen or increase the spread over time. How sick calls effect the business and the workers and the bottom line.
Pretty disappointing. Not much to do no variety.
There is not much of a game here just like looking at an ant farm. Objectives are not clear.
Trust only your respirator. Neat little sim that bundles all those random bits of covid related statistics like spread chance, severity ranges, and socioeconomic factors together, so you can see how they all interact as a system. Spoiler:
Almost everyone without N95 or P100 masks get infected by omicron
There's not actually much of a game in here, it's purely a sandbox sim. Don't expect victory or loss conditions, or level progression. Everything the game offers is available from the start, with no score tracking or resources to deal with.
I just noticed how scary this disease is...
DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review

PLEASE NOTE: I recommended this game with some exceptions, overall if the game did not live up to just a tiny expectation, I would not have recommended it at all, so please read the review carefully if you are thinking of buying/playing this game
Covid Simulator is a game developed and published by Coldrice Games LLC The game offers some nice graphics, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same. The game offers some really haunting but great music which I actually enjoyed listening on repeat whilst playing The game does suffer with some horrible UI and control issues such as not registering my clicks or initiating something else instead of what I wanted to select which was incredibly infuriating The only problem with this game is, even though it is a simulator and it's trying to simulate the transfer rate of COVID-19 and how infectious the disease can be, the features that the game offers are just not enough to warrant it being a fun or fully-featured game After two hours of playtime, I just got... bored. Nothing happens or something does happen and it's the thing you intended to happen. And if you do it in a certain way where you just place Pro-Vax posters everywhere, no one will be the odd one out and change the course of your decisions. And if you just plaster Anti-Vax posters everywhere, almost everyone will die after a while The game unfortunately just doesn't feel feature complete and that's a shame because it has potential and I understand that the game is developed by one person, but a game like Dust: An Elysian Tale, which was also developed by one person, has so much more features and better gameplay mechanics and such than Covid Simulator has and I think it should have stayed a bit more in the oven before being released, regardless of what it's trying to portray or say with it's social commentary. We've all been through this pandemic for over two years (2022) now, I think (most) people get the picture Covid Simulator overall, however, is an okay-ish game to play, and it does get incredibly boring if being played for a long time, but is an okay-ish to meh outbreak simulation game and to play in short bursts This game does have potential, but it really needs a lot of work and improvements to make it even better than it's already meh version of the game
RECOMMENDED :)
REVIEW SOURCES:

None
You should avoid this like the plague, by which I mean take zero precautions to stop yourself from buying it and say people trying to stop you from buying it are infringing on your freedoms.
#tinygamereviews

simple (and slightly-addictive!) little outbreak simulator with fun customization options including the ability to make your own maps!

Overall Score: 3/5

Curator: Nostalginauts
NOTE: big ups to the devs' considerate, pro-public health stance!
This game is a nice reminder of what live was like when Covid was still going. luckily Covid is over No one gets Covid anymore Never
