Still making my way through the game but so far so good. Courier Tale is truly a fantastic little adventure game full of charming characters and intrigue!
A short, but sweet adventure game that does what it sets out to rather well. Look forward to seeing what the devs come up with in the future.
An adorable little exploration game, with a minimalist look, fantastic music and good humor.
PROS
+++ Soundtrack is absolutely amazing +++ Lots of dialogue options with great, laid back humor throughout (can't remember the last time I actually laughed out loud during a game) +++ You can save manually at any time, with 24 different save slots available +++ Three different endings
(with one being particularly more interesting and surprisingly darker compared to the other two 'normal' ones, given the light-hearted nature of the gameplay)
++ Pleasing pixel art with effective use of colors ++ Three decent-sized maps with lots to explore ++ Easy to learn game controls and mechanics ++ A very useful 'always on' option for sprinting (it's automatically disabled whenever your characters is indoors) ++ Achievements (a few missables, but if you're determined to explore everything, you will know when to save and you'll get them all in one playthrough)
MEH/CONS
-- No mouse controls, keyboard only -- Quite short, even if you explore every nook and cranny - A bit pricy for its duration, but the content is really satisfying and it's on sale pretty often
CONCLUSION
Loved everything about it. Money and time well spent if you love exploring at your own pace and appreciate a good sense of humor! Will definitely be looking out for what else this dev will come up with.
Very unique and polished. Game's creator showed a lot of restraint and vision in their tone and style in this game. Very impressive little game. Please support!
The characters are so cute. I feel enjoyable playing the game, although I am struggling with the controls as I am used to playing the game with a mouse.
