I love the game it has great potential but whats the point of buying the houses??? I wasted money on nothing! I can't really furnish them or move where I re-spawn into the game. Also the Open and Close sign doesn't work, which really makes me not want to play the game because the game becomes choppy while they're purchasing. I rather fill the shop and open it so that I can reduce when that slow down can affect the game play. Finally we need an auto watering system for all plots PLEASE!
what crops gives the most money?
It's an ok game if you're 5 years old.
Countryside Life is a slow-burn rural simulation that places emphasis on the everyday rhythms of farming and small-scale self-sufficiency rather than spectacle or high-pressure objectives. From the outset, the game invites the player into a quiet countryside setting where the primary goal is to cultivate land, grow crops, and operate a modest farm business at a personal pace. There is no grand narrative pushing you forward; instead, progression is defined by how efficiently and thoughtfully you manage your time, resources, and land. This design choice immediately sets the tone for a relaxed experience that prioritizes immersion in routine over constant stimulation. The core gameplay revolves around planting, tending, and harvesting crops, followed by selling your produce directly to customers. The act of farming is deliberately hands-on, requiring attention to planting cycles and spatial planning rather than automation. As your farm grows, so does your responsibility to manage inventory, pricing, and customer flow at your stand, creating a simple but functional economic loop. The satisfaction here comes from watching your small operation gradually take shape, where each improvement feels earned through patience rather than sudden upgrades or scripted milestones. What Countryside Life does particularly well is capturing the feeling of unhurried rural work. Days pass at a calm tempo, encouraging players to slow down and focus on efficiency rather than speed. There is a quiet charm in arranging fields, deciding what to plant next, and preparing goods for sale. For players who enjoy simulation games as a form of relaxation, this measured pace can be genuinely soothing. The game rarely pressures you, allowing experimentation and self-directed goals to take center stage, which makes it well-suited for casual play sessions or longer, meditative stretches. That said, the experience can feel limited once the initial novelty wears off. While the farming loop is functional, it lacks the variety and depth found in more complex life or farming simulations. There are no extensive social systems, livestock management layers, or intricate production chains to master, which can make long-term progression feel repetitive. After several in-game days, the routine may start to blur together, especially for players who expect expanding mechanics or escalating challenges as their farm grows. Technical roughness is another element that shapes the overall experience. As an early-access title, Countryside Life shows signs of incomplete systems and occasional instability. Some mechanics feel underdeveloped, and interactions can occasionally behave in unintuitive ways. While these issues don’t always prevent enjoyment, they do undermine the sense of polish and reliability that simulation fans often value, particularly when investing long hours into building a farm from the ground up. Visually, the game adopts a straightforward and modest presentation. The environments are clean and readable, favoring functionality over artistic flair. This simplicity works well with the game’s calm atmosphere, though it also contributes to a sense that the world can feel sparse or static at times. The interface follows the same philosophy, remaining easy to understand but lacking refinement or customization options that could enhance long-term comfort. Overall, Countryside Life is best understood as a gentle, minimalist farming simulation designed for players who enjoy slow progression and routine-focused gameplay. Its strengths lie in its relaxed pacing and accessible mechanics, offering a peaceful alternative to more demanding simulation titles. However, limited depth, technical shortcomings, and a lack of variety may leave more experienced or ambitious players wanting more. In its current form, the game feels like a foundation with potential rather than a fully realized countryside simulator, appealing most to those who value calm repetition and are willing to overlook rough edges in exchange for a quiet rural escape. Rating: 6/10
VERY NICE GAME
The game is dead. A obvious cash grab! Steam should take it off sale, so they dont dupe anyone else into buying their dead game. Why should they earn money from it, if they are not going to continue with it?!
