I have never played counterstrike, however playing this one made me not only fall in love with the gameplay loop of the franchise but also the goldsrc engine and the art styles of these older titles. I love the way maps and textures look in this game, I love the bitcrushed audio and the way battlechatter is handled, its a vibe that many other games just don't have
