Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 9 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Plays great on steam deck, just as fun as Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams
COTTOn Rock'n'Roll -SUPERLATIVE NIGHT DREAMS- is a colorful and confident revival of a classic “cute ’em up” lineage, developed by Studio Saizensen and published by SUCCESS Corp.. Created as a celebratory entry for the long-running Cotton franchise, the game blends nostalgic arcade sensibilities with modern mechanical refinements, presenting an experience that feels both reverent toward its roots and refreshingly contemporary. From its whimsical tone to its fast, responsive action, it is immediately clear that this is a title built with a deep understanding of classic shoot-’em-up design. At its foundation, the game remains a horizontally scrolling shooter where reflexes, positioning, and pattern recognition are paramount. Enemies flood the screen with dense yet readable bullet formations, demanding careful movement rather than sheer aggression. The pacing strikes a satisfying balance, alternating between moments of controlled pressure and explosive chaos that keep players constantly engaged. While the core mechanics are simple—movement, a standard shot, and a special attack—the way these elements interact with enemy design and stage layouts creates a gameplay loop that rewards both quick reactions and deliberate strategy. One of the game’s defining strengths is its diverse cast of playable characters, each of whom radically alters how the game feels. Rather than cosmetic differences, every character introduces unique systems, shot behaviors, and risk-reward mechanics. Some favor traditional charged attacks reminiscent of classic Cotton titles, while others incorporate mechanics inspired by different shooter subgenres, such as proximity-based bonuses or time-limited power gauges. This variety not only enhances replayability but also invites experimentation, encouraging players to find characters that suit their preferred rhythm and playstyle. Stage structure further reinforces this sense of freedom and replay value. Instead of forcing a fixed progression, the game allows players to select from a pool of stages in varying orders, subtly affecting difficulty curves and pacing. Each environment is thematically distinct, with enemy types and hazards that feel purpose-built rather than interchangeable. Boss encounters serve as climactic tests of mastery, combining spectacle with carefully telegraphed attack patterns that reward learning rather than punishing trial and error. Mechanically, the game strikes an admirable balance between accessibility and depth. Newcomers can enjoy the spectacle and charm without feeling overwhelmed, thanks to forgiving difficulty options and intuitive controls. At the same time, experienced shooter fans will find plenty to master, from optimizing character-specific systems to navigating high-risk scenarios that yield greater rewards. Scoring mechanics and subtle incentives for aggressive play ensure that high-level runs demand precision and confidence rather than passive survival. Visually, COTTOn Rock'n'Roll -SUPERLATIVE NIGHT DREAMS- embraces a vibrant, storybook-like aesthetic filled with expressive character art and richly animated backgrounds. The color palette is bold without becoming cluttered, ensuring that bullets, enemies, and player characters remain clearly visible even during the most hectic moments. This clarity is essential for a shooter of this intensity, and the game consistently prioritizes readability without sacrificing personality or charm. The audio presentation complements the visuals effectively. Music tracks are energetic and upbeat, reinforcing the arcade roots of the experience while giving each stage its own identity. Sound effects provide crisp feedback for attacks, hits, and power activations, reinforcing player actions in a way that feels satisfying and responsive. Together, the audiovisual elements create a cohesive sensory package that enhances immersion rather than distracting from gameplay. What ultimately sets this entry apart is how confidently it embraces its identity. It does not attempt to reinvent the shoot-’em-up genre or dilute its mechanics for mass appeal. Instead, it refines and expands upon a proven formula, adding variety through character design and stage structure rather than unnecessary complexity. This focus results in a game that feels polished, intentional, and deeply respectful of arcade traditions. Taken as a whole, COTTOn Rock'n'Roll -SUPERLATIVE NIGHT DREAMS- stands as both a celebration and a continuation of a beloved franchise. It delivers fast, skill-driven shooting wrapped in whimsical fantasy, offering enough mechanical nuance to satisfy genre veterans while remaining approachable for newcomers. For players who appreciate classic arcade shooters with personality, replay depth, and thoughtful modern refinements, it is a standout example of how legacy series can evolve without losing their soul.

Good game
awesome game
An excellent entry into any Shmup collection and an easy starting point for those new to the genre. Learn how to maximize your point collection and it won't take too long before you can 1cc with at least one character in the roster.
