Siendo fan de la saga Cotton, no puedo recomendar esta cosa, porque ni port la puedo llamar, es una iso emulada por el peor emulador de Sega Saturn que me he topado en años, el sonido lo emula de pena, el imput lag a veces se hacía realmente molesto, las micro ralentizadas de la iso eran tremendas, una pena pero no lo recomiendo ni de oferta.

本作とブーメランを買う前に大分大人になってしまいました(笑)ので、セガ・サターンでは遊ばずじまいでした。相変わらずのノリで楽しい雰囲気です。しかし、そのポップな見た目や音楽とは裏腹に、オリジナル同様ビギナーお断りのハードコアなシューティングで、全然進めませんし、湯飲みも避けられません。オリジナルは湯飲み100%回避のシークレットゲットしつつ 1コインいけるくらいだったのですが、おかしいですね......ああ、湯飲みは跳ねるんですね、ひどいですね(笑 初代を遊んだ程度なので別のシリーズでも言われている遅延がどういったものかは分かりません。もし、ショットの初弾が出るまでのわずかな"間"を遅延と言っているのだとしたら、それはこのゲームの癖のようなもので、もともとの仕様です。魔法詠唱の演出なのかどうかは分かりませんが、Cottonは主人公が腕を水平にして初めて弾をうつ、という演出があります。オリジナルもそうでしたが、この演出についてはまったく説明がないので、人によっては遅延と思うのかもしれません。実は、この間の使い方が、好きなタイミングでパワークリスタルを回収するのに役に立つのですけれど、本作では敵がのべつまくなし現れ、撃っていないと危ないのであまり生かせませんでした。 もしかしたらスローモードが常時効いてしまうのかもしれませんが、よくわかりませんでした。サターンではもっと機敏に動くのでしょうかね。 それと、ゲーム側にサウンドボリュームの調整機能がないのが地味に辛かったですね。

Game works well. Finished a play through in less than an hour. Simple arcade fun. The Story is in Japanese text, but has no affect on the actual game play. Everything else is in the language you choose. If you really must know the story. Go and watch all 6 minutes of the cut scenes on YouTube.

The controls are forced WASD for movement, who plays STG like that? Sucks. The controls aren't directly mapped to your keyboard, they are mapped to a Switch controller which is mapped to the keyboard, so you can't just change the controls to whatever you want. You have to try to figure out Saturn C = Switch RT = keyboard L, it's brainrot. I thought the audio lag was exaggerated but it's really distracting. Writing in March 2026 and it's not fixed. Audio will lag to the point it's distracting and the game itself will lag constantly on Normal difficulty. This is NOT a good way to play this game. It's also kind of overrated anyway, it's supposed to be a "legendary cute em up" but the color crystal mechanic really messes up gameplay. When you kill certain enemies, they drop these color-changing crystals, which don't go away unless you pick them up and cycle their colors when you shoot them. So you're trying to shoot down a wave of enemies and instead the crystal is floating in the way changing color absorbing the shot, and the enemies come kill you. You have a health bar and one hit takes about 1/3 of your health. At the end of each level, you get to collect some health pickups in the form of tea cups. However this is useless, each tea cup gives you about one pixel-width of health on your bar, and you can't even earn back one hits-worth of HP from this minigame... so it's useless.
