About
THE SYSTEM REMEMBERS YOU.
You are not the hero. You are an intrusion — a strain of malware loose inside a hostile machine, and the antivirus is learning. It profiles your movement, predicts your dodges, adapts its pursuit mid-run, and carries everything it learned about you into the next one. Every run, the system knows you a little better. Every run, you have to become something it hasn't seen.
INFECT. Choose your strain — the regenerating WORM, the life-leeching TROJAN, the greedy RANSOM, the untouchable GHOST, or the walking apocalypse LOGIC.BMB — and carve through endless waves of security processes, each generation procedurally mutated.
EVOLVE. Fifteen weapons, each with five levels and an evolved form. Then it gets stupid: fuse two evolved abilities into one of 225 fusion combinations, each with its own name, color, and quirk. Fuse two primed fusions and ascend to the OMEGA tier — if you can survive long enough to build one.
SURVIVE THE PURGE. Boss-class defense programs hunt you every five minutes — a ravenous snake that rages when it feeds, a corrupted DVD logo that locks you in the arena, a blackout that swallows the screen whole. Kill the third and choose: extract with your stolen DATA, or go endless and see how deep the system goes. The fast and the bold will find things hiding past the fifteen-minute mark that we won't spoil here.

Reviews
TL;DR: It's very charming and quite fun while being simple. Learns from your own gameplay patterns to predict movement. Simple meta progression to scale with the game as well as an option to make the antivirus unlearn part of what it has. Highly recommended Quite a delightful game, saw it on an instagram ad and after seeing it was 5 dollars and looked neat I had to try it, I love roguelites a lot they're some of my favourite games and this one is honestly really good for what it is. At first it was a wee bit confusing and some smaller things here and there are a little jarring. (the upgrades popping up scared me for some reason, and exiting rift collapses is Very janky and feels like whiplash as you're instantly in a new dimension then instantly out, quite annoying if theres a boss guy around), the upgrades system is quite cool though and the fuses are surprisingly unique but just the teensiest bit wonky if you dont have better xp gaining ability as you still have to level them up to full power (good thing). Sometimes the rift collapse feels genuinely impossible as well and it is Very annoying Snake.exe makes no sense to me though, I dont understand how you're supposed to dodge it or what a strategy for it would even be, my first thought was grabbing the apples before it could but no that doesn't work and it feels unavoidable and you have to pray you got strong enough to kill it fast. maybe im dumb (then they added a final phase to it and it sucks) I wish there were things on screen instead of in menus to keep track of upgrades and such, at least i kinda wanna know my heatlh number and maybe something to show the intervals for attacks? For some reason even though it says to click, tap, or hit any key for the dialogue boxes, it only works if you hit a key and the tutorials pause the game while upgrades do not? Bit wonky The one track that loops for most of the gameplay gets old pretty fast so I ended up muting the music but I do enjoy the sound effects, while at the same time they get a bit loud and abrasive decently fast even with lower volumes things like the boss spawning kind of hurt and the basic sounds start to get to me when theres a lot of things happening on screen. As for meta progression it's a pretty straightforward system with some good options to scale with the game a bit faster each time you go back in. Most interestingly is the option to have the antivirus unlearn what it has learned from you through playing. Yes. This game learns from your patterns of play to predict your range, how you move, and how you evade. And the meta upgrades themself have many options to allow for so much variety. Shocking amount of depth for what this game is worth! I didn't expect too much going into it and I've been blown away honestly. This is an amazing first game. I'll probably revise it as I play
Only 3 hours on it, so not a complete review but I wanted to show support. Overall, this is the type of 'modern arcade' game I really like. Progress and xp gathering is very much a 'survivor' game, so obviously if you're not a fan of that game style this game isn't going to change your opinion. I'm interested to see how this game develops. The one thing that is either underdeveloped or maybe just plain unnecessary is the maze minigame; for now, I'll go with unnecessary - it interrupts the flow and doesn't feel like it really belongs. Fun game, definitely 'one more go'.
I wouldn't recommend this game as it is right now. There's a lot of potential for a fun game, but it's tucked away behind a bunch of jank that makes learning this game difficult, and not in a "skill issue" kind of way. Level-up perk choices pause the game, except for when there's a pop-up in front of the perks, which is only removed by pressing a movement key. But that un-pauses the game and you suddenly have to keep playing while trying to decide what perk to choose. These little 3D maze mini-games are often-times impossible to complete in the amount of time given. The way you're just thrust in to those mazes (facing a dead end, mind you) without any preparation is very jarring, as is the way you're snapped back to the core game. I haven't found a way to look at my stats mid-run (or even post-run) so I've no idea which weapons I'm choosing are effective or not. Nor can I look at a description of the weapons I've chosen, or which ones I've fused. Any pop-ups that don't pause the game (like boss announcement popups which I feel are IMPORTANT) are impossible to catch before they disappear. The game is fun, but I still have no idea what is going on. It needs a lot more polish. I'm hoping to see some updates in the future that address the jankiness that I feel would turn a lot of people away.
