Very badly optimized walking simulator with a memory leak that causes crashes, sounds jumping in and out of existence and jittery and stuttering FPS. World loads in as blocks in front of you, you can see things pop into existence as you get closer. Sound is badly balanced, FX audio is very loud whilst dialogue audio is very low in comparison with no sliders to fix it, and it doesn't help that the subtitles are not very visible against most surfaces. The story is supposed to be metaphor for corporate overlords, wasting your time working, you just being a worthless slave, stuff like that, however it's more than just a metaphor... that's ALL the dialogue is about. No matter what you are being banged on the head with that stuff. I don't know why the developer thought that was a good story, it's literally just the A.I robot following you around saying these things over and over as on the nose as possible constantly. Meanwhile all you do is walk across the horribly bad looking planets to objectives to press X on them, do this 4-5 times per planet and start over. The story is non-existent, it literally is just about you being a worthless human sent here to do work and it doesn't matter if you die, etc. The developer found about 100 different ways to say it over and over back-to-back. Voice-acting(except for the messages from your family) and soundtrack was pretty good. The world is painfully slow to traverse between objectives and has pointless insta-death traps that you must avoid. On a controller at least the Look sensitivity is broken. It resets between each planet and you must go into the settings each time and change it 1 number then back again and hit apply to fix it. This game is a 3 hour first person walking sim with some parkour set on a planet in space. You have to follow instructions to slowly uncover your fate and that of your family. The indoor station setting reminded me of Tacoma with that constant 2001:Space Odysse vibe. Once you get outside to discover the planet with your trusted robot AVA, the game reminded me of No Man's Sky. Movement is really good and exceptionally great with vertical parkour. Each day you start in your station, get your mission and head out to fulfill your mission. There are obivous story elements with classical sci-fi topics. But there is also the underlying "real" story that will become obvious on your last mission. The developers do not force feed you the ending ... you will be left to decide what it really means. I like walking sims and I like classical sci-fi topics. They did a good job blending both together and the robot goes full claptrap in the last mission.
I don't understand how this game is rated so poorly. Maybe it just resonated with me harder than others, but man was that a heavy story... The ending was amazing and completely changed my views on what was going on, but the very end left me a bit confused. The only downside I can say is that the game suffers some performance issues at times. I noticed it got especially bad on the very last planet. I'm not sure if it was the rendering of all the grass or what. Either way, I was able to get through without too much trouble.
Görsellerle hiçbir alakası yok y@rr@k gibi oyun bu oyunu yapanın @mk ben hayatımda bukadar boş bukadar sik gibi oyun görmedim
This game's main point seems to be about wasting time spent on careers when you could be doing other stuff and how that can destroy your life. Well, if this game is the other stuff, maybe burn your time on your career instead. I played it for about 2.8 hours before it crashed on me the second time, and I don't think I'll be going back to experience the ending.
great! would have worth a vr version!
After contemplating this game, I would lean towards giving it a thumbs up. There are several negatives that kind of ruin the gameplay for me; however, there are positives to it as well. Here are some cons that almost got me to quit playing. There were a lot of clipping issues. Countless number of areas have you going through walls and even through the ground. The second world was brutal. There were too many pitfalls and many of them are hard to see due to overgrown plants. Since there were no thruster until later worlds, I find myself running blindly and falling out of nowhere. Sometimes I just fall straight through the ground when going for side tasks. For the most part, there is too much space with little else to do other than bound from area to the next. Since planets are expected to be vast, it is understandable; unfortunately, it becomes boring and mundane when you are just simply running and jumping to the next destination. There isn’t much to do but the same thing over and over. Finally, the longer text seem to vanish too quickly making it hard to understand what I just read. This is somewhat important as one of the main concepts of this game is to understand the deeper messages what the game is trying to tell you. You can’t really click on anything again after that. Now for the pros. The good news is, after the second world, once I got the thrusters and the later worlds don’t have too much visual obstruction, playing the game became more tolerable. There is more freedom to explore even high rises and move around without the worry of hidden pitfalls. Also, jumping from platform to platform (including jagged or small platforms) are lenient to a point that you don’t just slide right off. This saves a lot of frustration. I like the story in this game. It kind of reminds me of Portal. Certainly the game doesn’t play like portal but the story concept feels like it.
You are following a task blindly only to discover it might be pointless. You do what you can to divert from your given task and do things your way to escape
. Side task are worth doing in the game as I diversion and escape from the world you are in. Also, it gives incentive to push through and try to go home from the missions. I do like deeper messages in the game to make us understand something in the real world. Humor is also good too. Finally, voice acting looks good and professional. Thumbs up for that. At the end of it, I thought the game did enough to lean towards a positive. I just wish the gameplay was a bit more and the bugs were fixed properly. Seeing the updates on the description page shows that the developers do care about the game. Maybe now they have moved on, but the final product is still good enough to play.
I usually enjoy walking simulators, but this one just felt boring and lacked polish. DIdn't finish it.
Ava sus artık.
