Corpse Keeper is a very challenging action-strategy roguelite. You'll need to lead a squad of three corpses to explore the grim and dark medieval world within limited time, build a powerful army of the living dead, and finally kill the demon lurking in the deep end of the cathedral.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I would have liked to like it, but it gets frustrating enough to stop playing when I get several hit in a row that get to the enemy perfectly but don't connect, leaving mine exposed. Or doing a perfect parry and not be able to follow through because my corpse is slow and the enemy is fast. I tried, I really did.

打得挺爽,但是资源系统很烂,每局清空资源我合理怀疑是故意延长玩家游玩的时间,非得打过boss才能进入下一轮,为什么不做成黑暗地牢那样的资源管理
Sadly I think this game just falls short of being recommendable. The concept & some of the execution is good. Play a necromancer, engage in 2D fights using your undead minions, gather bones & other stuff from your fallen enemies to then build & play as them, in roguelite format. Despite looking like a 2D fighter, it doesn't play like one, with only 1 real attack button yet 4 defensive as the real focus is on defending well with parrying, dodging and so on. Every fight you win offers your current corpse a random replacement attack for one of their chain of 3 that all playable corpses have. Corpses decay over time as they're used, sent out on darkest dungeon-esque dungeon raids with loot, events & fights. The problems emerge the more you play. There's a janky feeling to the whole game, it has weird funky lighting that makes things feel unpolished as lighting suddenly shifts whilst you're in a menu. It's a little buggy, as multiple times I managed to get stuck inside an opponent until we rolled making our attacks miss. But it's biggest sin is poor balancing. Corpses are overwhelmingly not created equal, and not just in the intentional way. Some are extremely difficult to play, such as the decision to have 3 different magic knights that only excel when using a finite, consumable item to spam their special attack with extremely underwhelming regular attack combos. Some matchups will feel borderline impossible unless you seriously memorise the enemy's attacks and perfect parry everything. Other corpses will let you breeze through many fights by just spamming attack (until the heroes on the higher ascension levels). Not good balancing. All of that balancing was tolerable to me due to the unique concept, the nail in the coffin making me not recommend is how overly buffed enemy heroes get at the final stage of the game. I was enjoying it up until the final difficulty tier, where I'll finally reach an ending and beat the game, only to find that the 5 mandatory hero fights you must beat to even attempt the final boss are now so overly buffed each is an overly long, overly difficult slog as both their HP and their balance values have been extremely inflated. You have to play extremely well, nailing all your defensive techniques, as these buffed heroes will decimate any playable corpse easily if they break your block just two or three times. It's a huge step up from the previous difficulty despite the rest of the game not being so hard. A couple of these heroes (for me, Jester & Inquisitor) were already overly punishing to face, so it's just no longer enjoyable to play a 60-90+ minute run just to bash my head against those fights again. Maybe I'll do more runs at some point, but it dawned on me that the game stopped being fun, out of a failure of balance.
Corpse Keeper is a fun and weird game. I didn't really understand it at first, but after one or two rounds I got the gist of the corpse maintenance and crafting. The combat probably allows for skill and finesse, but I've never been one for fighting games like this, so I mainly button-mashed. If I were a fighting game fan, I'd probably play this a lot more. As it is, it was still a cool experience. Unique features make this game stand out from most others. Killing enemies sometimes unlocks a random attack modifier that can fit in the first, second, or third slot in your attack combo, allowing for wide customization of attack based on range, power, speed and other factors. Corpse decay and building new bodies to control also allow for customization and randomization in the quality of your fighters. The Steamdeck runs a little hot while playing it, but otherwise I didn't have any issues.
puto juegazo todo hermoso me faltan dedos para contar las veces que me vine 10/10
好
I hate leaving negative reviews, especially for these types of games that "almost good", but I feel compelled for some reason. Maybe because the potential was so high. It has all the fixings of an odd gem, but the combat is just really not good. There are other smaller issues, but ultimately this is the crux of it. You only have one attack, so there are no real choices to be made while fighting; the only skill test is reactions to enemy attacks. You don't have to time your attacks because you can freely cancel into a block or dodge. Sometimes spacing matters, but not in most fights. So you just spam attack and either dodge or parry enemy attacks. It's boring, unfortunately. I am definitely interested to see what this dev does in the future, but I was really disappointed by this game.
什么打铁拼刀都是虚的,选择这个疯狂骑士你就通关了。 以及剧情实在没看懂。这些第一骑士第二骑士都从哪冒出来的
