If Cornucopia brought you a little joy, a Steam review would mean the world to me. It helps other players find the game, it steers where I take future updates, and honestly it lifts my spirits more than you'd think.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Lots of love, David 💛

Way too much going on here.
I love this game! I love how you can breed rare cows with a variety colors and breed special chickens with two heads! I also like how there are children that look different if you marry certain characters. Farming is fun, fishing is fun, and decorating the house is fun! The developer cares about the game and the community and had a wonderful discord channel as well. It's been so nice watching this game develop and grow!
It's fun and entertaining. Dev is active and working super hard on this! I would recommend this if you like farming games with fighting, looting, foraging and friendships. Definitely one of my favourite games
There was a bug and i reported it, and the dev patched it within a day. 10/10 based dev. As far as the gameplay goes, it's a pretty good game for something so far in early access. While it has issues, it could rival Stardew by the time it fully releases if the dev keeps cooking
I'm a bit over 20 hours in and this is one of the most fun farming sims I've played. For those that love a satisfying farm harvest, the minigame fiends, and those that read all the NPC dialogue, I highly highly recommend this if you're also a low-energy cozy game enjoyer. Loves + Low stress, laid back game - easy to earn money, fights can be a little hairy before you get a real weapon but not too difficult, easy to jump back into after a break because you don't need to remember where you're at + I really loved the vulnerable character dialogue, and some of the quirky and silly ones. Note there's some over the top moments/dialogue and occasions that gave me secondhand embarassment, but I think it makes sense for some of the characters. + Animal races that you can affect, arcade minigames, scratchers, random effect upgrades. Quick dopamine, very fun little additions. + Great QOL mechanics (fast travel, auto storage when your inventory is full, using materials from storage when crafting, cutscenes only play when you allow them to). + Upgraded tool abilities - has typical larger areas of effect as they level, but the instagrow and soil enrichment are great additions that make the farming aspect more enjoyable than other farming sims Neutral o The main quests are pretty quick to run through. Once you get a good weapon, you can breeze right through the bosses. I do like that a lot of the characters' side stories were integrated into the progression though. Not too deep or heavy of an overarching plot, but fun side stories and straightforward quests. Struggle Bugs - I notice it more so when my machine is running low on battery and it gets hot, but my pet and the npcs sometimes get stuck on their walk animation at the edge of the map. This has happened at least a few times when I start cutscenes as well, which is unfortunate because I have to skip them to exit the screen.
Edit note: I previously had a negative review but I am changing it to positive now due to recent patches and fixes. Previously I had tons of crashes on the Steam Deck and kept having to replay days and it was super frustrating but that seems to be fixed. I haven't crashed since coming back to give it another chance since the developer notified me in the comments that he had pushed fixes. I just wanted to let others know why I changed my review before going into it fully. I find the soil system very interesting and I think once I understand it better it will be really cool for optimization. I can already see that you get bigger crops and bigger yields as you match the crops to the right soil and improve the soil quality and nutrients. That's really a neat idea I haven't seen before. It's also cool though that you can just ignore it entirely from what I can tell and just get worse yields and smaller crops which is nice for people who don't want to invest time into it. I also love that you can plant crops in whatever season and just get worse results out of season. That's pretty cool. I ended up using camera mode 1 instead of the default because I just didn't vibe with it and it was making me a bit queasy for some reason but I appreciate the option to change it to several different angles for your preference. Not having to go to sleep is cool and something I have liked in other games that did it. You are better off going to bed unless you can cook stuff for energy recovery but having the option to just keep going at whatever you are doing without getting teleported home or collapsing is great for me. The tools upgrade themselves with skill levels which is kinda cool though I think there's a sense of achievement to having to work to upgrade them and that's kinda lost with this. I think the upgrades to the special effects of the charged use are way cooler. Bombs dropping while mining is really awesome when you fire the special on the pick and the watering can gets a larger area of effect. There's also a ton of variety in the bombs you can find. I found a nuclear one and it was awesome even though it killed me along with everything else around me. Pretty sick. The variety of crops and trees/bushes seems huge and I keep getting new ones. Not just the standard fare here. I also think the random level up reward thing is fun. Sometimes you get good stuff like a bunch of seeds or trees, a refresh of energy+health, useful items, soil enrichment, and a plant growth boost. Sometimes you end up with random effects like weird skin colors, being made huge or tiny, or a random hairstyle. Sometimes you get combat bonuses like thorns or a shield. It's fun and random and as a creature of chaos I find it enjoyable. I keep forgetting about the cards and never seem to remember to equip them but they have a lot of bonuses that are very helpful if you do. They even have warps and stuff like changing names of things in them. I do find myself wanting some sort of journal of tasks I can access with information on what I agreed to do because I am super forgetful. Thanks ADHD. Pretty sure I agreed to give someone Okra or maybe Asparagus or something else green like that weeks ago and I keep forgetting to. I genuinely can't remember who or what. I can't speak to the sound because I have auditory processing issues and play with the sound off on everything. So far a very fun game that I am looking forward to seeing it get through EA. The recent update made villager interaction more meaningful with more heart events which is great and it seems to be getting fixed and work done which is good to see. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy farming games. Been obsessed since HM64 and I am enjoying this one.
I love this game! Gets updates and is really fun in its current state! Thank you, Devs! You guys are awesome!
