As with all such games which I love and this one is no different (great visuals, story, npc dialog, etc) - it's a grind to get started, with everything costing much more than it should and player getting very little for what you sell. This game has a great quick transport system you gradually unlock to different areas of map which puts it above other such games. However, this games is worse because you eventually are running back and forth between two different farms. which ends up taking most of your time and other things like mining, cooking, fishing, and exploring almost taking a back seat. It's like two games in one. At this point it's just somewhat frustrating and not as relaxing as it should be for a farm sim game. What helped was keeping second farm small - only planting what is necessary for the region's requests and game gives you plenty of time to fill these major story-line requests. So far, I would have given it a big thumbs up, even with the frustrations. What turned it into a thumbs down for me is the almost game breaking bug that happens when you and your spouse have a baby. A bug so bad your game freezes and you lose all progress since last save. I managed to find a labor and time consuming "work around" that sometimes does not lose all progress, but you do lose immersion. A fix (manual save) that has to be done before you converse with any npc (especially spouse) for the rest of the game. I have over 116 hours invested and cannot refund at this point. So, if I play again which I tend to do with farm sim games - I can certainly say I will not have another baby in this game unless I see devs announce a specific fix for the bug. Until devs fix the game breaking bug, save your money and pass on this one.
The fishing sucks it got worse some how.
I would have paid double for this game. There's so much to do, the art is beautiful, the storylines are great.
Better then Harvest moon and most Story of season games.
I played this game a lot, I was around for a lot of the early release stuff and I was very excited to see it grow and get it's full release. I really enjoyed the premise and vibe, and I put a lot of time and effort into my save file. I'm giving it a massive thumbs down and a not recommended because of the most recent jealousy mechanic. It sounds kind of crazy that one mechanic can ruin a game, but this one is a HUGE issue. Not only does the idea that your partner doesn't want you to have friends speak to some bizarre mindset on the part of the devs, but it's simply unfun as a game mechanic. A major point of games that have giftable NPC's is to become friends with them, so to remove a portion of that is unfair and short sighted. It's toxic and gross that trying to make use of a core gameplay loop results in things like your partner throwing a fit because "you gifted someone else" and they REFUSE TO SPEAK TO YOU FOR TWO IN GAME DAYS. And it happens EVERY TIME you gift a romanceable NPC that is the same gender as your partner, which is it's own separate issue. I understand that this mode is something that can be toggled on and off, but I don't believe it should even be a mechanic that exists in the first place.
my absolute FAVORITE farming sim!!!
I had this game reserved in my library for a long time to wait for it to feel more complete. And man, this just scratches the right spot for everything. Kind of a small mix of Story of Seasons, Stardew Valley, and whole lotta of its own awesome spice! Glad I waited until it developed more, this game has been addictive to play!
非常卡!!不知道为什么到海边会卡的玩不了,我是今年新买的华为电脑,配置性能按道理说是完全能带动这款游戏的,但就是非常卡,体验超级差!!
Exactly what you're thinking but in a good way!
