The point and click, trying to find items is often obscured by a sudden cover of fog when you click too many times. I find it excessively annoying, especially when archaic items are listed that you have no concept of. Try finding a dragonfly when lighting is poor! I dislike the row/column where duplicates cannot occur. It's a waste of time that prolongs the game and adds nothing to it, usually having little to do with solving a riddle. While there are some merits to the game and interesting puzzles, the deviation from focusing on the theme makes this play arduous and overly time consuming.
I'm not sure if I should recommend this game or not. It has some problems. The hidden object scenes are problematic, very flat colours, very small images, really hard to see. Also, sometimes I used an object in a scene and was not accepted several times even though it was actually the correct object. But there's a lot of content to play, I can't say it's not worth it. So it's fine, just buy it with discount.
One of the worst HOGs I've ever played. You can tell right off the bat it's a poorly designed game because you have to wait for a little animation on the main menu to play out before the "start" button is even available, and even after you click it, it looks like it doesn't register and you have to wait for another animation. Never seen a game flub basic menu UI design this badly before. Then, in the game itself... ・There's no voice acting, so the entire story is just presented dispassionately through text that sometimes disappears too quickly to read ・The "voices" of the demons and the weird leprechaun-elf-thing that helps you are incredibly annoying ・There's no map ・Hidden object scenes make you wait between objects (if you click another one before the animation of the first one has finished, the game just doesn't react) ・There are no comments from the protagonist for the two-part objects in hidden object scenes, so sometimes it's unclear what you're supposed to do ・Several of the hidden object scenes instruct you to "find X matching pairs" rather than present a list but still punish you for random clicks even though you don't know what you're supposed to be looking for ・When you pick up documents, they automatically close after a certain period instead of waiting for you to click them... you can read them in your journal, but it's annoying for them to just disappear while you're reading them ・Many minigames are clunky and poorly designed (e.g., having to select a block and then click the associated arrows several times to move it one position at a time rather than just dragging it) ・Weird, clunky, poorly developed story where the protag miraculously knows things that make no sense for her to know... also she's traveling through time and through magical mirror portals and whatnot and seems fine with that but is for some reason dumbfounded by a painting of a snail eating moss ・Game is clearly playing off of the Seven Deadly Sins but chickens out of lust ("Power Lust"? wtf)... a good storyteller could easily cover lust without making the game explicit These HOGs are rather a guilty pleasure and I don't have high expectations for them, but this one was just excessively bad.

It is a well created game. The puzzles are not easy, not difficult.
I've played a myriad of HOGs over the years so I've played all of the best ones. Lately I've, specifically, been looking for older games that I have never tried and that's how I found my way to this title. It is older and it feels like it. I did like the story as well as the atmosphere and the art was very well done. I especially liked the designs of the vice demons! There are regular hidden object scenes as well as ones where you had to find the logical pairs. I liked having the mix of both. There is no map and quite a bit of backtracking which got a little annoying after a while. The hit detection can be bad. So if you think you found the right object but clicking didn't work, click it again, a time or two. I had this happen to me a couple times in the HO scenes. Also, the game crashed a few times but always picked up where I left off. I got this game in a bundle with three other games by 8Floor, it was only two dollars. I'd recommend waiting to get it on a good deal like that.
